It sure sounds like Ja'Mori Maclin is hitting the portal...
Coming off his best performance as a Wildcat, it appears Ja’Mori Maclin will be exploring his options in his final season of eligibility.
We brought in the biggest qb portal target each of the last few years. It isnt for lack of effort. We just need to develop a qb recruit and we finally have two that we can work on. I just don't trust this oc.
Hopefully hes a better qb coach. I can say i saw alot of technical advancement in boley over the season but many times now these guys have throwing coaches. So who knows if bush even gets credit there.

Nowadays every single year you have to reup everyone. Its insane.
Isn’t that what Saban said when he decided to leave? Something like “I don’t want to have re-recruit my roster every year?”
Before this season we were generally able to keep our best guys on board during the off season, now we are losing guys who are capable of going places where they can hurt us.
Did we not love it when we had Benny Snell and the whole "Snell Yeah!" machine racking up yards with big runs and big plays on our way to a 10 win season and a Citrus Bowl Trophy? People complain about not keeping up with the joneses and having a high flying fast paced no huddle spread offense, but that Citrus Bowl season was as exciting of a season as we've ever had around here. Hell, the season we had Snell and Williams both go over 1000 yards was pretty epic too. If it's a system that competes and wins games, then bring it back and build for it. Don't pretend to be something we aren't.
I actually enjoyed the physical style ground attack very much. The problem was that it was ineffective against the better teams in the conference. We weren't running over anybody once we got to the meat of our schedule. The front 7s of the SEC are just too talented
We brought in what this coaching staff and our fans thought was the best QBs. Our coaches don't have a clue in how to evaluate a QB, neither does this board. If a QB in a P4 or P% is not playing, they aren't worth a shvt. Get a low level QB that is on the field playing and getting experience. Vandy's QB says, "hold my beer." That kid would have been ignored by Stoops because he does not know jack shvt about a QB.

I heard a coach from the league that he was in from North Texas say that he caused two Db`s to quit playing football during the game because they could not guard him. Again that is not the SEC, but still there are alot of talented kids playing at those schools. I feel we are really letting a good one go...
You know that is actually a very good thought. They will never do it, and i dont think we have the O line to do what Gran wants to do offensively.. which leads me to this.. Gran was top 10 in the nation offensively when he was at Cincy . He comes to UK and becomes this very run heavy guy ( I still say what he and Lyn Bowden did is one of the most impressive football feats I have ever seem)-- I think the well documented and said common denominator is STOOPS is controlling these O coordinators to play a style that fits his Defensive first , control the ball mind set..
Assuming makes an ass out of you n me. Let’s see how things shake out. The first step towards solving the problem is admitting there is one. That’s been established. Let’s see what they come up with. Supposedly, the NIL money is there now. We signed some large O linemen. I’m excited to see where we go. Sometimes you gotta be humbled to get hungry.
He didn't come here and start running the ball. He was wide open and we had drew barker looking like an all American for one half, till barker broke his back.
(Its amazing how often i have to remind uk fans of this. I feel like some episode of the Twilight zone where only i lived through that timeline).
Only after that did be completely salvage an otherwise lost season by re-creating the offense midstream into the exact opposite approach and had a spindly unheralded transfer have to lead the way.
Iirc, that season ended up getting us to a bowl for the first time in forever.
