How many of you want to see UL shock the Hoosiers and then see the Zags utterly annihilate the Dirty Birds? I'm fine with it going the other way as well, but IU at #14 might make them think that they actually have a program.
It is a long way from 86 and 87.I thought it was pretty cool when these two colleges squared off nearly every season starting back in the mid-80’s. It was must see, and rarely disappointed.
Sure, but it doesn’t mean Kenny Walker, Winston Bennett and Rex Chapman weren’t three of the baddest dudes on the planet then, does it? The amount of time that has passed doesn’t somehow mean it didn’t happen. It is a long way from 86 and 87.
I never feel bad for UL, I hope they get beat ever game they play.I’m hoping little brother wins. I feel bad for them. We need them to start being a little better to bring the passion back to the rivalry. Plus IU spent all that money on that roster I think it would be funny to see little Kelsey take them down
You totally misunderstood (or perhaps I did). I was saying 86 (UL's last real title) and 87 (IU's last) are a long time ago. No way was I saying that the Cats of that time need no attention. I grew up on the Cats starting in 82, so I love all of those guys.Sure, but it doesn’t mean Kenny Walker, Winston Bennett and Rex Chapman weren’t three of the baddest dudes on the planet then, does it? Indiana can’t shoot so if UofL gets hot they can stay in it. Also Indiana is remarkably poor at rebounding for having such a good front line. I fully expect Indiana to win but Woodson is such a poor coach I could see it being closer than it should be.Louisville doesnt have the frontcourt depth to contend with IU
IU isn’t great shooting but they are vastly improved from last year. Louaivlle is worse version of Kentucky. Louisville is truly 3s or bust, they have nobody who can create anything consistently and their bigs want to be on the perimeter all game.Indiana can’t shoot so if UofL gets hot they can stay in it. Agreed.Go Cards. My loathing for IU basketball is a gargantuan beast who’s hunger can never be sated.
