Did WATE-TV report a story on their show and web site about an allegation against a Saint ut player yesterday, 3-21-2016? The allegation was made 9-23-2015. even though the DA declined to prosecute the player until Dec 2015. did said player continue on the team and in school and play in the Vandy game? I thought you said coach bj would suspend said player until said player was cleared? yeah, lawsuit is losing steam and saint ut is trying to get trial moved to Knoxville instead of Nashville. saint ut knows if it is in knox co, it will be swept under rug and nothing done as per usual.

I am continually amazed at the number of UT fans who come on this board seeking approval from fans of the worst football program in the SEC. We're like their date rape drug, something they're familiar with.

I would say Butch inherited less talent. Derek Dooley lost a game to a Kentucky WR who was playing QB that day. You're bad when you're the only coach who's lost a game to a school since 1984. Leave it to Dooley to stain that 30-1 record during this time.
You guys are starting to challenge UL for most delusional fan base. This lawsuit is far more serious than you are giving it credit. I'd be very surprised if anyone in your AD or football staff survive that. Calling a player a traitor and suspending him for helping a rape victim doesn't just go away merely because the Knoxville media is compliant. This will have legs that go beyond Knoxville. That and the fact that you suspend someone from helping a rape victim but the players that committed it are still unpunished.

Also, if this case had any merit, you would see UT trying to settle ASAP like Florida State did to avoid bad publicity. Instead UT and their lawyers are fighting it. Most if not all of it is a big money grab.

I'm not sure what Butch Jones has done or knows but if the reports are true that he called a player a "traitor" for helping a female that was supposedly assaulted by another player, that says a lot about him. As it pertains to sexual assault, it is one of the most difficult cases to prove legally. Victims of this horrible crime frequently watch their assailant walk away without any repercussion for their actions because the case often boils down to a he said she said situation. Concrete evidence is difficult to find in the majority of these cases. What makes it even more difficult is the possibility of a false accusation. So just because someone isn't charged or convicted of a sexual assault they have been accused of, doesn't mean they aren't guilty. Especially when it comes to athletes, athletes get away with crimes that no one else would because of who they are.

Yea I believe the player that helped the girl is no longer on the team. He didn't leave because Butch was supportive I will tell you that. Also butch has continually over signed then cut players after they are on campus. That is a sign of bad character in itself. I don't follow schools outside the sec so I'm not sure what went on at Cmu and cincy.
