Which is fine. The NCAA games this year show that even though most of the contenders were good/great offensive teams, getting stops, rebounding and controlling the pace won.

Not sure what you saw but last year, even at the most optimistic point, there were questions whether UK had anyone who could match-up with an elite, athletic SF. Gabriel was the only hope to be that guy and he quickly showed he wasn't that.

Next year, there might not be anyone who is, but there are numerous options.

UNC scored 90 pts or more regularly with a lineup like this. They weren't a great shooting team this year either and won the championship. If you have rebounders it makes up for less accurate shooters.

If we get Johnson, I think he starts at the 3 spot. We will need him in there to stretch the defense. We will essentially have two shooters with him and Green. Hopefully, Diallo improves his shot and can be a third option.

Diallo has improved his shot. And Baker shoots as good as anyone. And look for Humphries to focus on his outside shot too.

You have some people in positions where I doubt they play much ( bamba PF , Tai at center ect ) but that is pretty damn close to how it will look IMO.

I think if Briscoe goes pro then our starters are
Green/diallo/Vanderbilt/PJ Washington/Bamba

if Briscoe comes back move Diallo to the SF and Briscoe to shooting guard. If there is a 2nd team it would be
Alexander/SMith or Barker/Gabriel Or Cam if we get him/SKJ/Richards

I feel like that might be a little unrealistic, but not by much.

I think we'll add Bamba, one of the shooters we're looking at, and we'll probably lose at least one of our current big men other than Bam.

I thought Gabriel was pretty much gone?

i would say not likely. Simply because if we get back Gabriel, i don't think we get Cameron Johnson.
