Apparently all his credits from Illinois state didn’t transfer to UK but all the credits from UK did transfer to Illinois state which allows him to graduate in the summer. So yea he would be an Illinois State graduate.

It will be interesting to see how it shakes out. Proof will be in the pudding. My guess is the truth lies somewhere in the middle. I highly doubt that it is as bad as Jones said.
JMHO...I think Cal tried going the way of the old guard and it just doesn't work with his style of play which requires a dynamic PG and guys who can play off dribble. We just have not had a roster of those guys in years. I think transfers aren't coming here because they know they won't start and can get money elsewhere. Dickinson....to me that whole thing seemed unlikely from Day #1.
Reeves has nothing to be mad about.So many great guards in the portal early that Cal didn't look at because he believed in Reeves.Got tons of playing time last season.I understand guys like Hopkins leaving but Reeves is just being dumb IMO.
Not if the players are coming from the local YMCA or church league. Appears Cal is struggling to get even these players. And lets say he gets them. Are you confident in Cal's coaching ability, for these guys to have success?
Unenrolled doesn’t even mean anything. You can’t unenroll, apart from just not enrolling the next semester and he’s got until deep into August to do that. Some classes you’d have to sign up for long before that to grab a spot. But he doesn’t care about those——all he needs are grad classes and they never fill up.
For a kid that’s senior age man up and let everyone know what you have decided to do instead of hiding behind someone. This is the culture that our coach has created though and this in the end is on Cal for letting all these darn inmates run the asylum!
Just wasn't a mentally strong team all around. CL and Cason were gone from day 1. Wheeler as the PG wasn't the answer, as he needed competent AND healthy wings to be effective. Toppin just not that good. We never had a true leader. All the freshman were a bit off and not really playing to their ranking (aside from a game or two from Cason). Injury woes for 2 years in a row. Oscar showing deficiencies and also nutting heads wjth staff and players. And obviously Cals multitude of issues.
Just a bad team on all fronts. But sometimes you get those and you just have to reset things. While I want Reeves back, his stall-game is really holding us up. I'm starting to think maybe it's best if the slate is wiped totally clean, and we wipe our hands clean of 22 and 23 seasons.
He can’t go anywhere until he graduates. He can’t even enter the portal yet. So nothing to announce one way or the other.

Kentucky is his fall back option if he doesn't graduate. No grad transfer no shop for other schools.

He’s a pass first guard. That fits better with a team of potential superstars than a guy who likes to put up 15+ shots a game, IMHO.

Yes, you can unenroll from classes / school. It's called withdrawing. Done through writing, usually.
It's both. The attitudes are now gone, but the one thing remains that is preventing getting other players.
It does mean something though, if he wanted to stay he would enroll in those classes. No reason to go back and graduate at all somewhere else unless you wanted to leave.
That in itself shows the problems in the program IMO. No way a guy like him should ever be tempted to leave after the year he had and what he made.
Yes, if he had already signed up or was taking classes. You could drop or withdraw those. So, Reeves would have had to have registered early for Summer classes and then drop or withdraw.
If you remember Reeves pulled the same crap last year and wouldn’t commit when the staff thought he would. They basically gave him an ultimatum and said either commit or we’re moving on. He finally committed but everyone was wondering what took him so long. Dude has a hard time committing it looks like.

The Illinois state “thing” is true.
It shows that he's very self-centered, most players know that their decisions affect roster building. I'd say no thanks and move onto someone who wants to be here. It isn't like we're expecting him to repeat any level of success.
Cal and Reeves both know what he plans to do. It is not Reeves's place to announce it. That is Cal's responsibility. Either Cal thinks it is none of fans business or he is afraid of the backlash, unless he can bring some good news too. Hence no announcement.
Reeve’s isn’t interested in being a ‘team leader’ , rah-rah type on a young team . He’ll take a bit less NIL to start on a team , shoot 18 times and try and play his way into some sort of pro contract .

They never deleted him from the directory when he was a student before . Kids from years ago are still in it . That said , that’s likely where he’d ‘graduate ‘ from if possible , as 85% of his credits are from there
