In hindsight it's really shocking Kentucky was able to win at Tennessee. This team is sorely missing a point guard and they're lacking in athleticism. But there's no excuse for the defensive performance we saw for most of tonight. Some of it was athleticism and personnel, some of it was Ole Miss was very aggressive and allowed to be coming out, but some of it was just not being mentally locked in and slow to respond to action on the court.

Ole Miss beat the brakes off of them tonight. Humbling performance and a blowout that means Kentucky has four losses in five games. Of course, defense is an unanswered question in the big picture about Pope.

Amari Williams was threatening for a triple double at one point but it didn't matter as they were about -22 with him in the game in the first half. They did not respond well to the intensity early in the game. Later, when they did, it was already out of hand but they did battle more after halftime.

Another ugly loss for Kentucky and they're piling up. Now 4-5 in the SEC and lagging behind the top of the league. It's not going to get a lot easier moving forward. The backups did play better in the second half.

Ole Miss had one turnover. That's simply unacceptable on any level.
