You could see Kentucky's size advantage early in the game. Kentucky came out strong grabbing offensive rebounds and getting most of the looks they wanted. You don't see too many teams dominate the offensive glass like Kentucky did in the first half. However, they didn't get a lot of second chance points out of it.
Kentucky wasn't hot from outside early but Koby Brea knocked down some outside shots. The Cats again looked unselfish. Bucknell didn't shoot well but Noah Williamson going 0/6 played a role in their offensive struggles.
One of the things I like with this team is the relentless energy. You get that from Williams and Carr but with the backcourt's depth you have Butler hounding the ball or Kriisa attacking the open court all the time.
Shot selection has been a real strength for this team and you have to figure having so many experienced players and a good system is a part of it. They share the ball but also don't pass up good looks.
