indiana fans think their assembly hall behavior wasn’t bad

In all fairness, Calipari didn’t renew the UK-IU rivalry series. It was Barnhart and his staff, over Calipari’s opposition. And I’m among those thrilled the UK-IU series is back on, along with the re-introduction of the UofL-IU series. College basketball is always more entertaining when the Golden Triangle is at its best.

Meh. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with thick-headed loyalty, but if a person is going to go to a Raiders game in the Oakland Coliseum while wearing Chiefs gear, they better have thick skin and thick shoulders as part of that combination. The same holds true for those who go to Assembly Hall to watch an IU-UK men’s game while flossing Kentucky gear. Assembly Hall during a rivalry game is every bit the cesspool as the Oakland Coliseum. It shouldn’t be that way if we lived in a perfect world, but I have a hard time being convinced to hand out Purple Hearts for self-inflicted bruised feelings. Reasonable minds can differ.
Yeah they should be prepared to be beaten and trampled huh? SMH

lol Now onto name calling? So, back to what I originally stated. In the last 22 years, you know, a time frame of some relevance, you have been to one more title game than Indiana. So if IU sux, here's a mirror.

IU last won a title when I was 6 years old. I’m bald with a gray beard now.

UK last won when a title when I was 31 and merely balding slightly.

IU has missed the tournament more times in the last 6 years than UK has since 1989.

IU is approaching a decade since it last saw the second weekend of the tournament and hasn’t seen a Final Four in 23 years.

I get it. Half your fanbase still lives in 1976 and thinks modernization of anything is blasphemy and still pines for a coach who’s been gone for 25 years and is no longer alive.

Yep. Programs are definitely the same. 🙄

Last thing: Appetite for Destruction by Guns N’ Roses is the highest selling debut record of all time. It was released four months AFTER your last championship.

I think they acted appropriately. That was a big shot, against a really great team.

Any school who hadn’t been significant in decades responds that way when they beat us in that fashion.

Mid majors will always mid major. Oakland and St Peter’s will live off memories for years too.
