Not Ford, but Jeff joins the staff to coach his son for a year before the NBA. Jeff stays behind with Mark and they win a few championships together. Let’s go! 😂
I like his dad. DEC 2022 we sat together at a high school basketball game at Henderson Co. We talked the entire game! I immensely enjoyed it. Dude was a great high school basketball coach!
I don’t necessarily think we need to go heavy on UK ties assistant coaches.
We have a healthy amount of UK blood on the coaching staff as is, maybe one more at max.
They should hire Pope’s top BYU assistant, a defensive specialist, and 2 recruiting oriented guys, wouldn’t mind dropping a bag Jai Lucas’ way to reverse uno hire him back from Duke and shed that black eye.

I wouldn't mind a former player as an assistant. Who is the best option that actually has experience with recruiting? Maybe Padgett and then you have 2 former champs. Plus Padgett and Pope were at UK for like a year together and Padgett has SEC experience here and currently at Miss St. Guys like Wall, Rondo, and Anderson haven't ever coached. I'd like to keep them involved with UK if possible though.
