I'm tired of all the excuses made for Towles

I realize Barker dropped a TD and did not contribute much against UF but Patrick Towles did have time to throw in the second half and just failed to make elementary passes to open receivers. The OL certainly played poorly the first half but when given time Towle still did not perform.

It's time KY fans quite making excuses for Towles and look at the facts. Repeatedly Towles missed receivers who were open, tooked several sacks when he should have thrown the ball away, is slow to make decisions, is slow with his recognition, and late with his passes. The pass to Bone for a TD was there and it was not a long pass yet Towles missed it badly. He has made missing his receivers a routine and though the OL has not played well at times Towles is suppose to be the leader of this team.

In the 2nd half Towles had time to throw and several chances to lead Kentucky to victory he just was not up to the task. Towles cannot carry a team to victory because he cannot hit the mark with any regularity.
