This sounds like the Bull-ish the Black Panthers spouted in the 60's. I still believe that if you aren't a steaming piece of crap you will most likely never have a reason to get sideways with the cops, dirty or not. I keep a very close eye on the "police state" issue but unless you are into being dramatic, life in America is still pretty freaking great.

In this case you have a bunch of nuts whose behavior must have given the cops a good reason to try to use force and contain the situation. It only escalated because the perpetrators were obviously empowered by the spirit of Satan with super strength and adamantium bones. After a point the cops had every right to try to immobilize these nuts BY WHATEVER MEANS NECESSARY.

Firstly, the police were called because they assaulted an employee inside the Walmart. Two of the brothers were blocking the entrance to the bathroom while another was in the restroom. An employee (I'm assuming the loss prevention guy that is helping the cops fight) tried to enter and with assaulted. Again I'm assuming that the brothers were attempting to steal.

Secondly, I don't understand how anyone can watch this video and then make an asinine comment like the one you made. Some are always looking to vilify the police. In some instances they are in the wrong (South Carolina) but in some, and most instances, they do an incredible job.

I can't believe the cops didn't beat the ever loving crap out of all of em. At some point you have to take control and sort the reasons out later when it's this bad. I mean hell, what if one of the dudes had gotten the cops gun? How many people would be dead then?

Did they not have handcuffs? Jesus. You'd think when they got one down or one calmed down you could cuff em. It's a miracle more people didn't die here. The cops used restrain almost to their own peril. Even when more of em came they still couldn't take out the hillbillies.

Two video's, the first is from the car closest to the suspect and seemed to be in control until the guy in the second video decided it was time to end it.

I'm of the belief cops are totally out of control in this country. Having said that, police handled this about as well as they could. This gang was looking for a fight or a lawsuit or something. They showed a lot more restraint than I would have. Baton to the kneecaps for all of em, that would get them down.

Im not sure what you are trying to point out with your videos, John. But I can tell you Im all in favor of what the 2nd cop did. If I see a guy walking thru my neighborhood with a rifle after robbing a store, I want him taken out as quickly as possible before my kid or someone else gets shot.

I guess Im in the minority because it appears that several in this thread were raised by loser parents. My parents always said if a cop tells you to do something, you do it. Fight it later in court if you dont like whats going on. Just do what they say. Fortunately, Ive not run across any incidents like this. But then again, Im not a piece of trash robbing a store with a rifle, not doing what the cops say and now facing 15 criminal charges.

The only problem I have with the video that the loser that got run over didnt die and now the taxpayers have to support him for 30 years to life.

Maybe they are a lot like you in the way they live / believe ? It sure seemed to touch a nerve with you. But then again, I am 47, never had a run in / bad experience with law enforcement. Probably a reason why you and a lot of idiots like those in the video and on here, hate cops so much. Simple really, live a life of not being a loser, drug user, meth maker, robbing, stealing, or breaking any serious law that may endanger others or put the community in harms way, I am pretty sure you will make it thru life without the boys in blue beating you with a night stick, assaulting or even better, shooting you. Yes you to can be a normal everyday citizen, just quit being a gd knuckle head breaking every law possible and having a rap sheet a yard long. Funny how that works, people without a criminal record seem to do ok avoiding run ins with the law. 95% of the time you can that is (there are a few trigger happy cops), just like when I play Blackjack, I always try to play the %'s that are in my favor. So I will take the 95% chance if I do right, I will be fine with officers when / if ever approached.

I'm not going to disagree with you. Just the way it went down was shocking, there is a longer version of the second cops dashcam that shows him coming from across town until he the perp wide open the entire way. He must have been the higher ranked officer because it didn't look he cared a bit about what the others were doing.

If someone doesn't do what a cop tells them to do, then cops should be capable of handling it. They couldn't even take down a band of unruly gypsies! If I was a cop, I would be embarrassed. All the tazers, sprays, batons, and whatever at your disposal, and they couldn't do much of nothing. One cop might have lost control of his gun and had to shoot a guy. Where in the world do they find these cops?

I only blame them for defrauding the people of Cottonwood who thought they were paying for professional law enforcement...pretty sad to have to listen to the police chief make excuses for his officers getting their asses kicked by some gypsy christian musicians.
