Yeah, the part where the guy gets fatally shot in the head is awesome! One of the best videos I've ever seen. Totally sweet!
The two guys putting their hands up and stepping back into the fight was bizarre. I'm going to agree with the PD that they knew exactly what they were doing.
I can't imagine the gunplay if they had tried that in Hicktown, Ky. They would need a bobcat to clean up the cop's shell casings.

The fact that they knew to gauge a cops face and not both with their midsection as well as knowing to roll when hit by a stun gun was crazy. It's like they were trained.
I honestly can't believe these cops didn't kill all of them. I watched the police commissioner one and it was bizarre. The mom and the 11 year old daughter refused to move the whole time. The cops not wanting to accidentally hit one of the officers or the girl or he bystanders is the only reason two or three of them were not killed because the cops pulled their guns but unlike the psycho in South Carolina, they used some sense and didn't want to just hurt anyone.
Scary as hell though. I honestly expected this to be in Alabama or Arkansas not Arizona.

Agreed, all they had to do was separate as ask in the beginning and all would have been fine. They decided to not comply with what was being ask. Just plain stupid. Like in the past in most other shootings or confrontations with the police, if these people had done what was ask this video would not be in the news.
Disturbing. Looks as if the group could have been testing their tactics, maybe they are part of a cult? It all looked rehearsed on their part. Applaud the restraint by the police, not many cops we see in the news wouldn't have killed the entire family. Disappointed with the lack of success the officers had in restraining the group.

Everyone of those cops should be fired and some even put in jail. all they did was escalate the situation. i guess there are no decent cops. Forget about good or great. Everyone of these dudes suck at what they do
YouTube the play by play video of it. It explains stuff there's no way you'd catch watching it the first time. Shows two guys going for the cop's gun which shot him in the leg. The family started it. The mom refuses to remove the 11 year old girl from the middle of the fight. At no point did these lunatic parents tell their kids to stop nor did these people comply with cops. They would pretend to give up and then gauge a cop's face and pull at his eyes and mouth etc etc
There were three to four times the cops pulled their guns but were unable to shoot cause of the backdrop. I'd say this was one of the better proceedings from cops and thanks to the Wal Mart employee in the gray shirt, the cops stood a better chance.

A good cop deescalates a tense situation, not escalates it. The moment the cops arrive and put their hands on the daughter then everything spins out of control. This should be a case study in how to NOT handle a situation.
They should not have came in like gangbusters and especially start grabbing family members. You want to show up but remain 10-15 feet away until you have properly assessed the situation (talk to Walmart employee, father, other witnesses) unless somebody is armed or there is imminent danger that requires an immediate response. This was a MINOR case of using Walmart's bathroom not a case of an armed robbery or kidnapping.
Cops are hiring military guys right out of Iraq and they are employing that military style of aggressive intervention on US citizens and it is an absolute disaster. No tact. No respect. Just overwhelm the citizens and that is not what this country is supposed to be about. This isn't Fallujah... at least not yet.

The cops were already on scene and had assessed the situation. The dash cam we saw was from back up arriving and they ordered the family to separate, which they had already been asked to do.
This was totally and completely the fault of the white trash, not the cops.

Yep. And notice how they kept yelling at the cops to "stop hitting the children!", but never told the kids to stop hitting the cops.
That crowd was well trained in how to assault police officers. Idaho is a hornet's nest of sovereign citizen types, so I wouldn't be shocked to see some sort of connection made.
I spent 20 years in the military and another 10 in DoD and I've never any shit like this before in my life. This is only a sample of shit to come because no one respects authority anymore. There would have been a couple more meeting God if I had been there. POS family!!!

Using Walmart's bathroom without buying anything justifies a full on police assault. This is a tough crowd in here. No wonder the Police State is thriving with our fine citizens doing their civic duty and supporting this type of abhorrent unconstitutional behavior by our street gangs in blue that by the day are growing bolder and bolder in creating the new normal where citizens are treated like combatants in a war zone.
