"If This Is Skal Now . . .

Thanks for the link. We're pulling for you Skal. 9 more games of that and you'll be back in the top 5 in the draft. We all want to see you rolling in money.
If
1. Skal becomes the Skal we saw in that last game
2. Willis keeps playing like he did while healthy in conference
3. our backcourt trio gives us the usual, and
4. Lee or Poythress switch off having decent games,
I'd favor us against anybody in the country on a neutral court. Kansas, Michigan State, UNC - I'd bet the cats -4 against any of them on a neutral court. With only 2, 3, and 4 being the case, we were already playing like a top 5 team (and then Derek got injured).
#1 is the only one that I'm a little hesitant on, but really, so long as one of Skal, Lee, and Poythress has an A game and the rest is there, we are going to make 1 seeds feel like they're outmanned.

It's a good point. If we had this Skal, we probably have 2 maybe 3 SEC losses. Really if we had this Skal all year, we may be sitting at 2 or 3 losses total.
Some nice praise from Bruce Pearl and Rick Barnes, both of whom said Kentucky is capable of winning the whole thing if their big men play well.
