If one and done is eliminated, how will that affect UK?

Cal has five starting spots open to sell recruits. Instead of having three, four or sometimes even five spots to fill every year, he suddenly would only have one to three. Those top 10 kids would then go elsewhere because that's where they would start from Day One. So other teams would benefit from us having less of these guys. Teams like Louisville, Florida, Indiana, etc. We would have to recruit the way every other coach at UK had to recruit before Cal arrived. Piece by piece, hoping the new piece fits with the ones on hand.

A few of us are right on. The 1 and done benifits cal past the point of not.

Billy Donovan would have LOVED a two and done. There's not question about it. Cal wouldn't actually like it. Don't believe it for a second. He's OAD king. Two and done changes everything.

Starting year would be critical. That is why I used 2010, that would have been perfection. What if it were 2016-17...?

That's gonna take a while to figure out.

Don't confuse what i am saying as I want to change anything. My point is Cal would be more than fine. The years he could only recruit 2-3 players means he already has 3 super studs with experience, the next year he recruits 3-4 super studs.

I believe the rest will scatter so much that another team will not be able to gather as many as we do over two years. More teams will have one more good player..

I absolutely agree that the first year this rule would be adopted would be very critical.
