The bottomline is this. Forget the injuries we haven’t had Kerr hardly at all and Robinson has been out a while now. We have a complete team and based on where it appears we will be seeded not making a sweet sixteen will be a bitter end to a decent season. That is this uk fans lowered expectations. A month ago I felt elite 8 but a couple ncaa wins would be twice as many as we be had in the last 5 years. Win the first two and maybe the bracket opens up. This year with everything, heck i could see a report come out the day of the game that Carr is out with back spasms, butler re-aggravated his shoulder getting off the bus into the arena, williams has COVID, Brea the FLU going into game 1.

I have no expectations as each time we try to have them there is something else wrong with a player. If we win game 1, great, see how we do game 2, win that great, how we do game 3 and so forth. Not 1 single expectation by this UK fan. Will try to watch live game action or at least come on here during the game to see how we are doing.

It’s hard for sports fans, but you have to be rational and look at everything with context and perspective. Cats need to win 1 game and avoid an upset. Then with this team and circumstance of how quickly they had to be assembled and the significant injuries…beyond one win it feels like gravy. All about matchups.

Pope’s first year. I’m just glad we should be in the top 16. We were barely top 25 to start the season. And then all the injuries. I’m just happy to be in the Dance. Looking forward to the tourney more than I have in the last few years.
