Kentucky got a very favorable draw again this year

so they got screwed by being seeded HIGHER than they deserved?

No one got screwed. Rarely does this so called screw job happen.

I'm saying that in 2017, Wichita St was overall rated 8th in Kenpom. They were seeded 10th. That was a massive underseed.

And yes. It wasn't fair to them. And it wasn't fair to UK who as a 2 seed should not have had to face a team of that quality so early in the tournament.

And not surprisingly we won the game, but it was a one possession game and basically tight the entire way.

I vividly remember that year because everyone was complaining about UCLA being the 3 seed. But they were very much like our team from last year in that they had a great offense but bad defense. I wasn't worried about them. I was more concerned about Wichita St.

We beat them by 3 points while we had no problems at all with UCLA.

I do agree tho that it's rare these things happen. And when they do it tends to be these mid major teams that maybe don't have the resume the power conference team has and thus people are confused on where to seed them.

Part of me likes seeing TN in the path but then I remember beating AUB 3 times and meeting for a 4th and them getting us for a trip to the FF. It's hard to beat good teams 3-4 times.

If we're healthy then let's rumble, but gotta have Butler with no JRob if we make it to TN. And if they make it😁

And who knows with this thing, maybe UT doesn't make it.
