Idiotic move not to have Booker in and then bring him in with 5 sec left

Scratching my head at the coaching staff today. No zone when clearly this team can't shoot and not adjusting to A&M. We're only down three at the half due to athleticism and NOT coaching.

Noticed that too. Aaron is having an off day and Booker is hot. Cal pushed a lot of buttons to finally get the guys going but he missed that one for sure.

No arguement from me . In this game since the refs won't call all the fouls inside Booker has to play the entire second half as i think we will make around 14 threes in this game and end up winning by around 15 . But with these refs in this game it will have to be from 3 .

Probably kept Aaron in for defense. He's quietly a very good defender, but no one ever seems to realize that. If ever there was a game when we need some defensive intensity, this is it. But, yeah, Booker is definitely hot from outside.

Cal needs to follow his own line of thinking more often and play the hot hand. Lee only played a couple of minutes against Ole Miss for not "bringing it". Well now he needs to sit Dakari for the same reason.

Booker and Towns nee to see a lot of minutes in the 2nd half and Cal should go to a zone until A&M shown they can hit from outside..

Depends on whether Cal was wanting a three or an easy bucket. Based on what Aaron did, I'm guessing attack the rim for an easy two. It just didn't work out in this instance. If its late in the game and we need a three, maybe Booker is in.

Aaron is playing well it is Ulis who is playing bad. I would go with the twins ,Booker ,WCs and Towns until we can stretch the lead out .

or maybe Booker needed to come out for a breather? Cal has said in the past he tries to let them let him know if they need it.

The platoon system isn't really part of the game today, so the above is as good a reason as any.

Just an opinion.

I agree with that five. They need to be on the court until the other guys earn some PT. Ulis is playing poorly, Dakari is a turnover waiting to happen and Lyles and Lee are giving us nothing when they are on the floor.

Aaron just picked up his second foul on that drive to the basket. Booker has none. Cal didn't want Aaron getting a cheap third in the last 5 seconds which is why he subbed.

Devon was shooting well, but we couldn't keep their players from penetrating. I wasn't watching close enough to see how much of that was on Devon, but I'd speculate that this could be the reason why he got fewer minutes than his hot shooting might have demanded.

Coach, that's more the reason to have Booker in to draw to D out and allow Harrison to drive. Think about it.... You have your best shooters out there.

Since every team is going to zone us, why not start Booker? He is the best shooter on the team and is really hot right now. It might help avoid the painfully slow start UK had today. Go with 3 guards Towns and WCS.
