I think Florida beats Tennessee.

Arkansas is screwing the pooch.
Florida has the backcourt. Florida has something to prove.
I disagree. I think Florida will struggle a bit to score against UT. Barnes has a physical team that’s also talented at most every position. They will offer much more resistance than UK. Home court will help but I like UT by 7-8.

Florida will need to win that game as crazy as it sounds. Maybe not a must win, but winning home games are at a premium this year in the SEC.

I don't imagine they've already got the officiating crew selected for when UT comes to town for that one ....hehe ? I know Tuesday, that is going to be one whale of a game, any way you slice it. Great year to be plugged in on SEC basketball. How refreshing !

Go Big Blue !

Disagree fla wins imo

Really don't know much about either team tbh. Neither one has played much of a schedule.

Tennessee has a really nice win at Illinois, but that's about it.

We exposed Florida a little today, I'm amazed at how open Brea was all game long. But, on offense, they are elite. They have 2 guards that will give UT fits and a big man that plays like a poor man's Patric Young. They also offensive rebound better than most.

I think Florida win this one since it's in Gainesville.

TBF Brea made some ridiculous shots that were heavily contested too. Credit to Florida, that is an extremely good team. I honestly thought they were the second best team we have played this year

Brea hasn't been able to get that many shots off since the early season cupcake games. Every team we have faced since the duke game, has smothered him. KB was wide open a lot today.

Illinois, Louisville, Baylor, Miami and Syracuse are all very solid wins. Ohio State and Clemson are in that same stratosphere of opponent. The difference is they don't have wins over top 10 teams, but that doesn't mean they COULDN'T beat them, they just haven't been on the schedule (yet). I still think Auburn is better, they just have a loss but their resume is 5 times more impressive.

I'll buy Illinois and Louisville, but Baylor is a mess that won't be ranked after today and only has one good win (Arkansas) and the other two aren't even NIT teams.
Jeez, has Miami actually won a game? Doesn't seem like they have (sarcasm, but not by much).

Gonna be another awesome game. Sucks it’s during the same time as the UK game. Gonna be multiple great SEC games every week for the rest of the season.

I feel like the top of the SEC kinda separated themselves today (UT, Auburn, Bama, UK, Florida in a clear top tier) followed by MSU and A&M sneakily close behind

Yeah Miami is one of the worst teams in P5 this year so I wouldn’t say that’s a remotely good win haha

One of the upsides of the SEC being stacked is that there will be non-UK games that are interesting to watch. There have been years when outside of Kentucky there were few SEC games worth watching. This year there will likely be multiple games each weekend that will be entertaining.

Florida vs Tennessee will be a battle like our game except more defensive battle. Something like 75-70 either could win. I bet I am wrong again on the score, just like our game with Florida but what the heck.

Dude what year are you living in? Miami is 4-10. Syracuse is 6-8.

UT is largely untested and it will bite them in the ass vs. Florida, just like it bit Florida today.

I will take Florida in this one as well. UT goes through scoring droughts at times and if they do that and get into foul trouble Florida will pour it on.

Wide open? Really? He made some very contested shots.
Uh, I never said every shot he took was wide open, but what I am saying is, Florida did not stifle him like almost everyone else has. He got 9 shots up, 2 or 3 of them were guarded, but most weren't.
Hell, the first one he missed, there wasn't a defender within 10'.
I'm not saying Florida stinks on defense, I'm saying they didn't smother him like others have and it's probably because the other 4 guys on the floor were showing Florida that they better guard them too. This is what the Pope offense is supposed to do to defenses.

I definitely don’t buy Miami, Syracuse and Baylor either. Especially not Miami and Syracuse. Miami is terrible!

If they guard Lanier like they did Brea they’ll lose
I won't be surprised to see this Florida team in the SEC tournament later this year. They look great head to toe. We gave their A plus game and matched them and one upped them with our home A ++ game. That's how we roll at UK. But I take nothing away from this Florida team for the game they brought Saturday. That was an all time favorite for sure.

I'd rather say it'll take a collective team effort from the Vols, like UK did, in order to beat (a now hungry) one loss gator team at the O'Connel center Tuesday. Gators gonna be smarting from that trip to Lexington.... If Lanier has a game like Brea did, maybe the Vols will win. But I don't think the Gators will let that happen. I'm not sure we would get a repeat Brea performance to beat that Gator team again. I wouldn't count on it, I know that. And yeah. I can definitely see how only playing the Gators ONCE this year might help us overall. Now we got the head to head with them.

I like us to finish 3rd in the SEC and #3 national seed at the end. At least I thought that pre-season. Which seemed to me wildly optimistic. Considering. This team might very well WIN the conference this year, or even finish second. THAT would truly be remarkable and historic. This team has the feel of a true title contender this year.

And we've won big games so far. Resume building. Nice. Learned some lessons along the way. I truly miss seeing Kriisa out there though, I would add. I totally love the energy he brings this team on the court when he is in there.

Otherwise, all is well.

Let the SEC eat it's own this year. We're in good hands !

Go Big Blue Nation !
