I say sign Harris' mom. She's obviously a heavy UK lean.

Yes

That weeping did not look like a mom that was told 5 weeks ago that UA was choice or he broke the news on Thanksgiving after Bama trip. That cry was of a mom that found out right before we all did. I think from what I gather she and almost everyone thought until the All Star game he was going to UK and something sure changed it or he fooled Mark Stoops and momma.

Think he is a nice young man from all reports.
IMO

If anyone was listening to the live feed before he realized his microphone was live, you could hear his Mom saying "We can wait." He then asked if this was live and went forward.

Why wouldn't she?

Easy to drive over for any home games, he could bring home his laundry and have a home cooked meal whenever he wanted to, not that he would need to like I did when going to UK, etc. Even if some "arrangement" could be made where she can go to all his games as in the case of Bridgewater, whose single hard working mom sacrificed to raise him and could have driven across town to see him play (or just to see him) instead had to spend a large portion of her free weekend time traveling across the country to see him, and most of that time was spent not getting to see him really. Not to mention that her friends and family probably won't be included in the package, not sure who all was included in BW's mothers package. I wonder if she got to keep all the frequent flyer miles she piled up?

Of course she could give up her friends and family and move to Bama, maybe also part of the package, but also a lot of limits on what can be done there.

Sure makes me appreciate Tim Couch, that could have gone anywhere in the country, but chose to stay loyal and stay and play for Home State U when it was a much worse program with a lot less commitment from the University and with a LOT less talent already lined up before he got there.

Thanks again, Tim, hope it worked out pretty well for you.
