That statement is the kiss of deathAdd Jeremiah Fears and Darryn Peterson to the "UK is my dream school list" of guys who turned down scholarship offers from their dream school, Kentucky.
Geez OP
The OP probably....
I think everytime a player says that, Pope should just tell them "Okay, next."Add Jeremiah Fears and Darryn Peterson to the "UK is my dream school list" of guys who turned down scholarship offers from their dream school, Kentucky.
Solid poster which makes this post so odd. Day drinking is my bet.Damn we have a tough crowd here!
Ankle monitor is contingent on beating a woman. I'm sure he already has that covered because I'm sure Self wouldn't recruit him otherwise.Does he get an ankle monitor when he signs or when he shows up on campus and officially gets probation? 😂
From what I remember, Cal stopped recruiting him once we bagged Wiltjer. Wiltjer picked UK in late-August. Miller picked Baylor a few weeks later in October.Don’t forget Quincy Miller .
That was a while back though so I don’t remember why he didn’t end up here

This has to be one of the most asinine takes I have seen.. This is not true never was true and never will be true.Until Pope proves himself we won't get many great Recruits unless they have KY or Mormon ties IMO.
I’d have to say Kansas is the choice, I can see K state or USC pony up a huge NIL deal for him though. This is obviously about his biggest market or boosters. At least this appears to be the case from this list. Kansas is the best choice for his development and they paid a ton for Hunter so I can see them pony up for him too.Strange list to have for such a highly ranked player.
K state is rumored to be spending lots of cash. They paid Coleman Hawkins over a million a year.Is he near Kansas? Don't get kstate. Other ones make perfect sense in NIL era. Kansas has to be the pick I'd assume.
Most of them don't give two ishes and a rat's ass about where they go. It's all about "who's gonna get me my paper". Nothing more, nothing less. Which in a way I understand., you should be a bit selfish when it comes to your income. But I can't imagine living my whole life that way, as basically a merc.Strange list to have for such a highly ranked player.
Agreed. Smash is a great contributor to this board.Smash has been a great poster of news for a LONG while. He gets a pass or ten. (Try it sometime. It takes a special breed..) Thanks Smash! @Smashcat
Of all the people smashing him you picked me to reprimand? I feel honored.Smash has been a great poster of news for a LONG while. He gets a pass or ten. (Try it sometime. It takes a special breed..) Thanks Smash! @Smashcat

That’s why I said I get it. But also you have to find a place where you’ll be happy as well. If you take the higher pay but the work environment is hell it’s usually not worth it. It’s also a two way street for the employer too. Is it worth paying all that money if the guy you bring in is a total ass? That’s kind of a weird way to describe it imo. I understand sports and fandom but it’s not that different from any other job that 99% of us do. If you had two companies wanting you to be an accountant you’d typically go with the one that paid the most if it was significant. If it was close then you’d probably go for other factors but if one wanted to pay you 30% more it’s going to be difficult to say no.
