Speaking as a veteran, please remember that Memorial Day is not the same as Veteran's Day. Today is the day when we honor our fallen. If you know a veteran remember that they have likely lost friends in the service. You might be surprised to find out how many. Rather than thanking vets for their service today, try offering condolences for all of their lost friends.
These "protest over every little thing folks" have no idea how blessed they are
Yes sir...I think this is a Memorial Day thread and if so, yes, thanks to all those who gave their lives.
Memorial Day is not the same as Veterans Day. Memorial Day is for the ones that gave their life fighting for our country. Every single damn year I have to tell people the difference.
Should thank them everyday. But yesterday is for those that are no longer with us do to them giving the ultimate sacrifice.Does it really do you harm to thank a Veteran twice every damn year. Sorry for the inconvenience.
