Stop with hyperbole. I do not hate or dislike Stoops. Just nonsense.
They been raking in money from the SEC tv contract for years now. Obviously, they pay 2 coaches 9 mil a year. Pretending they don't have money is dishonest.
They have money. You been by the sports complex lately. New baseball stadium and field.
Same for softball and soccer.
Football stadium renovations. Campus renovations. They have the money.
Stoops did great things. No denying that.
But it seems the train is out of steam. Need more Deone Walkers, more speed at WR, RB, etc.
The QB situation is where Stoops and staff have really come up short.Resources no longer means facilities to me though. Resources are NIL, pay for play schemes and Kentucky is more than likely
Number 1 in basketball and bottom half or worse in football in that aspect.
I understand your point there. I just disagree about the train. I think the train needs a conductor and that conductor is a high level quarterback. Had Kentucky had one this year they are maybe looking at new years six!
I posed this question on another board I thought to you but must have tagged someone else 😂😂
Of the 14 other teams currently in the sec how many would trade the last 8 years with what Kentucky has?
Your last sentence proves you just don’t know anything about football. That’s ok. My grandmother didn’t know shit about football either and still loved her.Stop with hyperbole. I do not hate or dislike Stoops. Just nonsense.

Really? You don’t understand? Shocker lolThe QB situation is where Stoops and staff have really come up short.
I really don't understand it.
According to Stoops he was drinking bourbon, smoking cigars and celebrating the win over Louisville while the internet was filling with rumors and BS. I will take him at his word before I put any stock in UK hater Pat Forde and his Girl Gossip articles. You have a coach wanting to leave and had the offer pulled back. Shades of Satterfield from UofSmell.
This explains the horrid play against S Car.
He was looking, remember that.
Stephen Johnson, Terry Wilson, Will Levis.... We haven't been as bad at QB as people make is sound on here. The QB situation is where Stoops and staff have really come up short.
I really don't understand it.
As to point No. 3, NIL means pretty much Jack as far as recruiting against Alabama and Georgia and Ohio St. BEFORE NIL, they did exactly what they now do in recruiting which is finish way, way up there. With or without NIL, the top 10 blueblood programs will get about 50% of high 4 players and 5 star players and the 10 next will get over half of what is left. The only way NIL starts killing us is if and when we start getting passed by teams that we typically outrecruit or if we start losing more upper level talent in the portal than we get, neither of which has happened yet. We're still around our usual good recruiting rankings like before under Stoops, still taking more transfer talent than we lost. After nearly three years of NIL.1: I don’t know a single fan that sees the last two years as anything but a disappointment. So your “weak fans that want to be .500 or a game above” doesn’t make much sense.
2: no program is ever going to fire their all time wins leading coach in the midst of an 8 game bowl streak because of a loss in November. That’s almost as crazy as giving him an extension every year for his 6th win.
3. NIL is absolutely a disadvantage for UK not an advantage, of the 14, soon to be 16 teams you really think UK football is going to be one of the top in NIL?
4. You would rather go 4-8 with a coach that wants to win???? Stoops obviously wants to be here or he wouldn’t be, but even the worlds biggest stoops hater would choose 7-6 or 8-5 over 4-8.
Now I have a question for you…
Do you think stoops is trying to get better on offense? I think the pace of play absolutely needs to be addressed in the off season, outside of that look at last three years.
10-3 - great offense very fun won 10 games!
7-5 - quarterback drafted in 2nd round, young receivers, absolute garbage offensive line and offensive coordinator
7-5 - the number two rated transfer quarterback, did not perform as expected.
Had Leary been near what he was supposed to be you are looking at 9-3, 8-4 at the minimum.
If you want to criticize stoops I understand but that is the main issue, the inability to get a quarterback from high school that can take the program to the next level.
Those guys were good. The issue is not being able to consistently get good QBs in recruitingStephen Johnson, Terry Wilson, Will Levis.... We haven't been as bad at QB as people make is sound on here.
