If he hears all the noise and criticism that’s coming out him then I really feel bad for him. He was in a really tough spot. Trying to get his team to match the level of intensity that Arkansas was bringing to the table was never gonna be possible. They didn’t have a dog in this fight. Arkansas players had every motivation in the world to come out and play like their life depended on it for their head coach. And then to see some fans, media people like KSR try to spin in like pope didn’t understand the assignment is ridiculous. And then to hear the crowd boos at the end of the game was embarrassing. They didn’t deserve that. Let’s see who has the better season going forward still. I’m pretty sure we all know who it’s gonna be. Does our team still have flaws and lack toughness on the defensive end? Absolutely. But to say this team is embarrassing and didn’t meet the challenge from Arkansas is a disgrace and Pope and the players don’t deserve that. They went up against a team that was playing inspired ball for their head coach bc they wanted to show him they had his back
