I fear that Calipari won't land Cook or Edwards.

We’re about to have our most experienced team in Cal’s tenure.

We will see how that works out.

KU prioritizes cheating. So does UNC. The only honest titles here lately have been Novas.
Every year we say "this is the year", but there's always an excuse for why Cal came up short… again.
I'm ready to see results, not projections and pre season hopes. It’s time for Cal to deliver, it's been way too long.

I agree it’s time for Cal to deliver. I’m willing to give him this year to do it.

Keldon was athletic as hell, but wasn't a good shooter and he disappeared a lot.
I was hoping he would have stayed one more year, because we only got to see flashes of how great he could have been, but that's what happens with the one-and-done culture.
Sort of inconsistent at times but he shot fine to me . 49% from the field and 38% from 3 from a guy who wasn’t touted as a shooter coming in is pretty good .

We have had several that looked the part and were ranked high in high school. Some did well here while others , for whatever reason did not. I can name Boston, Clarke, K. Johnson and Wenyen Gabriel off the top of my head. None were as productive as MKG but they were as highly ranked as the players you are fearful of missing on.

I am doing you a favor by telling you to stop arguing with the guy. He talks facts and common sense. You have nothing going for you unless you count ill will toward Cal a positive. Seriously, he makes you sound silly.
Based on the lunacy you bring to this board, the only person who needs a favor from you is yourself. However, I certainly understand why you will take a pass on it, Lol. Your favors have less value than the excuses you have for Cal's failures.

Both players represent the type of guys who Calipari never gets. 6'7" to 6'8" wing player who is explosive and versatile. We've had a few phony versions of this type of player in recent years, but really haven't had a guy who fits this bill since MKG.

Elite small forwards are Calipari's pipedream. He simply cannot convince them to play for him.

Andrew Wiggins
Bazz Muhammed
Jaylen Brown
Jayson Tatum
Jonathan Isaacs
Jabari Parker
Brandon Ingram
Jalen Johnson
Will Barton
Miles Bridges
Justice Winslow
Stanley Johnson
R.J. Barrett
Zion Williamson
Cam Reddish
Jonathan Kuminga
etc.

Calipari is the absolute worst of the elite coaches when it comes to landing elite wing forwards.

He literally has no recent comparison to offer them he recruits them. He has to go back to MKG or CDR.
What difference does it make....both probably headed to NBA like Sharpe. Don't waste time recruiting them.

What in my above post do you consider lunacy?

When a fanbase has been convinced that it absolutely must have the top rated 5 star at every position to have a shot at a championship, you might have a coaching problem.
this must be Coach k problen this past year

I'm not trying to knock you but this past year was supposed to be Cal's most experienced team and you see what that got us? A first round exit to St Peters and it all has to do with coaching and not making any adjustments! It's what Cal has been failing to do for a lot of years that has cost us quite a few titles!

I think it was more injuries (Ty and Grady) and Cal was out of options. Which is on him completely. Hence the infamous “We’re effed” quote during that game. Cal had no other offense outside of Oscar. And he inexplicably didn’t play Toppin in thr 2nd half.

Cal doesn’t make on the fly adjustments well. I agree. He does make them at halftime decently. He just had no options when Grady was lame and Ty was also not optimal. Because we were kicking ass and taking names until late Feb.

Again, all that falls on Cal. For sure.

Thing is: if this is the standard for loyalty to a Coach, then Rupp would have been fired in the 60's. Joe would have been canned in early 80's.

We call ourselves the "King of the Hill" and yet behave like selfish children who are only happy when they get our way.

Since 1958, we've won 4 titles. 4 in 64 years. Cal has 1.

Personally I am embarrassed by it all. Worst fans UK has had (in my 75+ years as a Fan).
Social media brings out the best and worst in a lot of people.
