Howdy, UGA fan here

If you really want the local flavor I personally like Rolling Oven on National Avenue in downtown area, best pizza in town very laid back attitude and a beer selection to die for.

Eats;
Pies & Pints
Goodfellas Pizza
Joe Bologna's
Loco Taco
Pasta Garage
KSR Bar and Grill
Joella’s Chicken
Carsons
Drakes
Malons Steakhouse
Ramsay’s Dinner
Crank and Boone ice cream

Awesome. We'll try and hit one of those up FRI evening. Looking forward to a good game
I second Joe B’s. Joe Bologna’s is really, really good if you’re wanting Italian. It has been a staple for Italian food in Lexington for decades. It’s also downtown and not far from the stadium.

One thing I forgot to ask, what is parking like at the stadium? Is it available, do I have to pay, can I buy a pass now and have it on hand?

I think there are colored lot passes available, somewhere online.

There are $20.00 private parking spots (watch for hand painted signs) near the stadium in all directions, if you get there at least an hour ahead of kickoff.

Just got back from Lexington. Just as I figured, y'all gave us a great game. And it was COLD, even for us Nebraska folks.
We had a great time, sat with some great UK fans (although a Wildcat fan about 5 rows behind s kept yelling to "throw the damn ball"), haha, I thought with that wind, y'all did a pretty god job of it.
We went to Pints & Pies FRI evening. Found a good spot to park, right across the main street from the stadium. Walked up with a beer in a coozie, saw a cop, and I went to throw it away (never knowing what local laws with open containers are). He asked if it was empty, I said no sir. He said well, finish it. So, I stood there drinking my beer BSing with the cop.
All in all, good time, good game, and I can't wait unitl we can make it back on another trip.

Thanks again to all here and good luck the rest of the year.

ps, We were all high 5iving listening to the UT scores rolling in. HAHA

Yes Winchells is open. Great breakfast spot. Also if you want a good doughnut to to Spaldings on Winchester Road across from Jif Peanutbutter plant.

Good. I moved away from Lexington in 2017 and nobody mentioned Winchells. That place, the lunch buffet at Good Foods, and bourbon and Toulouse were my favorites
