I can't believe anyone would have pick UK to win the NACCT....just look at Cal's pathetic performance the past few years. Are you living in fantasy land?
Listen you need to apologize for mocking everyone who saw through this a long time ago. I’m glad you finally stop being duped by a salesman, but you were definitely one who gave people hell who were concerned for this program. Why not offer up a little “I was wrong” to go along with that firing?

That's why I do more than one bracket. One with my heart and one with my head.

I had us making it to the SS. Of course that used to be a given. Figured it was easy picking. I should have learned.

I had us getting beat in the second game. Thought we could have won the 1st game but not surprised with the coach we have now.
If you really broke down this year's "Special" team, you'd not have picked them to survive this weekend. I had them out in Rd of 32. Now I was wrong about who they'd be playing-had Texas Tech beating NC State but they were sub .500 against the field 7-8 and .500 entering the Tournament.
Speaks to the brand helping overseed them. How they were a #3 seed is baffling? Just a weaker field this year than usual? But this talk of "disappointment" is more for me about sustained mediocrity and wasting talented roster this year-more than anything specifically special about this year's team. Kentucky teams that don't win a regular season championship or SEC Tournament or at least make a run to SEC Title game don't really do much in NCAA's. The '14 team made a run to lose to UF who was #1 in country in a well played game to give us hope. The other Cal teams were championship teams entering March in some capacity--'10, '11, '12, '15, '16, '17, '18, with '19 being an outlier with run to Elite 8 in which was a strong year for SEC.
So the '20 talk from fans makes some sense seeing they won the Conference by 3 games in regular season but after that--nothing has happened but mediocrity.

I was wrong, thinking Cal was best for us going forward. I no longer think that. It's time for a change.
I didn't. I definitely thought we'd make it to today. After that was iffy.

I liked our half of the bracket and had us in the Elite Eight. Thought Marquette might get beat before they faced us and that we'd get through the Tech-NC State winner.
Yeah for real! Hypocritical to say the least. He's been wagging his finger forever at fans who realized long ago it was time for a change. Now all of a sudden, it's okay to be on the 'Fire Cal' train because they're on board and everyone was wrong before them. To hell with this bullshit.
