How many games will the SEC win in Round One?

Every year I think the league is going to kick ass and every year they end up going down like sacks of potatoes.
This is definitely a different SEC, but I still don't trust Mississippi State, aTm, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Vandy, or Missouri.
But I would laugh so hard if MSU got to duke and beat their asses.

The four top 2 seeds, considering those seeds win >95% of the time in 1st round). That leaves 10 teams, so if the SEC goes 6-4 in those games, that is reasonable, thus a 10-4.

Not sure what the spreads will be, but the SEC teams are the higher seed in 9 of the matchups including a team in 3 of the 8/9 games (1 as the 8 seed, 2 as the 9), 2 of the 7/10 games (both as the 10), and one of the 11/11 games.

So 9-5 or 10-4 would be about right with those 6 games being pretty much toss-ups.

Hopefully u mean UT as them losing opens up the elite 8 to UK.

I agreed with @BlueBomb but wasn't thinking about your point, which is a great one...

so, with that in mind, I will be rooting for all but 2 SEC teams to win their first round game.

However, if I only have to choose 1 team to lose in the first round, it wouldn't be UT. I could just pull for them to be upset in the 2nd round to make for an easier path to the EE for the Cats.
