They probably won’t know for a bit. You can see his knee hyperextend and he couldn’t put any weight on it, so something tearing is likely

Tell you what, that was a very intelligent heads up play by Goodfellow - I know he suffered because of it but I think his play there saved the game for us.

Yeah, I’ve seen injuries like that where the hammy takes the punishment more than the knee.

I know it worked out (the roughing call) but the smart play was to take the safety, we rarely have these things go or way.

So was roughing the kicker legit or did the ref throw that flag to cover us.
That was a really good play by Goodfellow. To chase that down and get a kick off was seriously impressive. Hopefully he makes a quick recovery

Completely legitimate. Had he gotten a piece of the ball, it wouldn't have been called. Had he not taken him to the ground completely, it might have been running into the kicker and just 5 yards. Since he wasn't attempting to block the kick and Goodfellow hadn't acted like a runner (taking extra steps before kickin) he can't just tackle him.
Yeah I was watching on my phone from work and wasn't for sure if we got help or not cause I couldn't hear it over everything.
