Go to the 4:32 mark of the youtube video (57 second remaining in first half mark of the game). Butler sets up Almonor with a corner three. Ansley turns and says something to the Illini bench, prompting one of the Illini coaches to stand up and scream at him.

Meanwhile, Ansley runs back down the court smiling! Beautiful troll job on against an elitist coaching staff that needed to be humbled.

It’s not just me right? Butler is looking healthier.. he really played well. Brea has really become a player. All around.

There's enough pieces left to take down Tennessee and Houston.

UK matches up well with both, as opposed to Florida, Auburn, Alabama, and a rejuvenated Duke team.

Yeah , I remember a teammate of his. cost us a technical….. I would prefer for AA to have a game where makes 7 3s and pulls 10 rebounds. Then he can talk trash. Let s stay humble and focus. Being cocky , when we won nothing yet…eyes on the big prize!

I agree, but a Sweet Sixteen isn't "nothing", especially after the Calipari shizz show. These guys achieved the season goal based on most fans preseason expectations. If they beat Tennessee, they surpass those expectations.

he looks better than he did in a while. i just think he now knows what to do and what not to do in a live game with his shoulder, and to stay in the game. he’s managing well and playing smart.

like the kick out on that almanor 3. he was in the paint. before the injury he’d have tried a fade away or to draw a foul. instead, a pump fake and kick out to an open shooter.

And UK beat TN with and without Butler.

They can do it Friday night.

I agree it’s very nice after last 5 years of Cal. But we are Kentucky, we want number 9! Stay focus on recovery, prepare next game/s and let the wins make the talking.

Just as far as his dexterity, and fluidity in his play, he’s even going for steals now. He played a great floor game and picked his spots today.
