Helicopter(possibly military) and an American Airlines CRJ have collided near Ronald Reagan near D.C.

A plane they collided with and a plane in the foreground. They were instructed to get behind the plane. They probably were looking at the wrong plane
I’ve read this a few places, but if you know the flight routes Into/out of Reagan (they are VERY limited) and where the Helo was flying (on the other side of the river on the southern half of the runway), it’s really hard to believe that the pilot was trying to get behind a plane in front of him/her. The planes the pilot would see in front of them would be coming in from the south to land and would not be veering into their line of flight (they would be over the west edge of the river, not the east). The only plane the Helo would theoretically have to worry about would be one that is landing on runway #33 (not as widely used and for smaller jets/planes) that comes from the southeast and crosses the river at the southern end of the airport to land heading northwest. Thats the path the plane was on that the Helo hit.

Not saying the pilot wasn’t looking at something coming in from the south, but anyone flying that Helo SHOULD (and I would think would) know the potential flight paths of any planes coming in.

Sir, this is a sad statement on the state of America.
It was somewhat bizarre that the family of the female pilot did not want her identified. There was a lot of misinformation put out about her identity before it was confirmed, and that fueled some "theories." Once she was identified, then you see her political leanings are confirmed by being a social media aide under the previous administration. I just hope that this was an accident and not an intentional act, but it's hard to watch that helicopter fly directly into that plane without jumping to some awful conclusions.
so a 500 hour Army Black Hawk pilot with a perfect safety record purposely flew into a regional jet for some political reason? seriously?'
I've read a lot of idiocy on here over the years but that probably takes the cake. And the only people "jumping to conclusions" are imbeciles that known nothing about aviation or the military.

It is extremely far-fetched, but the idiocy in the investigation would be to remove it from the realm of possibilities.

As to your expertise in the military, explain a soldier igniting a rental Tesla truck in front of a Trump building or a service member shooting fellow soldiers on a base?

Our political leanings should not eliminate possibilities.

I don't know anything about driving a Cybertruck, but as mentioned above, a guy who served in the military drove one up to the front of the Vegas Trump Hotel, killed himself and then tried to kill others with an explosion. The Cybertruck and Trump Hotel was a direct message regarding Musk and Trump.

Nobody has been able to explain why the helicopter did nothing at all to move off its trajectory in the last few seconds. The pilot appears in a lot of pictures online with Pride flags. She could have had PTS-DT. We don't know, but yes, people who were/are in the military are capable of doing that just like any regular jihadist.
