We can agree that coaching is lacking.

As long as we can fill the roster, coaching should make the difference, no matter who is recruited.

You can teach a lot in several months but watch and see...we probably will lose big games and barely win the games that pad our record for the year.

Well the season actually starts in 53 days in Canada and he won’t add anyone after that because he doesn’t want to add someone new to break team chemistry, just like last year after Bahamas even though the chemistry was s*** all year. He’s lost it, he’s just a middle of the row SEC coach now and we’re stuck with him.

Ever heard the phrase I’ve seen this movie before? Regardless I’m hardly worked up about it. My expectations for KY basketball have nosedived as long as cal is in charge and that is irregardless of the roster.

He kinda is because he’s allowed a player or two to dictate who and when he brings in additional players. I’d trade Bradshaw to USC for 2-3 solid portal dudes, but Cal didn’t want to have Bradshaw take his heart, and now those dudes are gone.

When Bradshaw ends up being Skal or Boston, and Ugo is average at best, UK will be out of the tournament by February.

None of the "2-3 solid portal dudes" want to deal with Cal's politics and lack of coaching. They knew they'd sit the bench for half of the season and Cal has no REAL plan for them. They either plug-n-play in his "system" or he has no use for them.

Why do many coaches stick to one style of play rather than adjust to the talent on hand? Look at the drought after 98, and the reversion in 2015 when we went away from platooning. Egos win out with many coaches.

Unless something happens soon that no one knows about Ky will only have 6 or 7 scholarship players next season.
