Well the season actually starts in 53 days in Canada and he won’t add anyone after that because he doesn’t want to add someone new to break team chemistry, just like last year after Bahamas even though the chemistry was s*** all year. He’s lost it, he’s just a middle of the row SEC coach now and we’re stuck with him.

The coaching staff has taken an extraordinary gamble….it’s this last wave of post combine/deadline withdrawal players or bust. But I actually don’t think they had much of a choice. Players want to play in 2023 that’s their number #1, #2, & #3 priority. And they ALL know our top 4 freshmen are going to get 30 minutes + a game so just like with Johnson it’s scaring everyone away.

Yeah, we have had to hear that for years. Then the transfer portal comes along and messes that excuse up for him. Just little excitement left knowing how he puts the program second. Have to think he could have gotten a couple of those good transfers if he had really pushed for them instead of worrying about the frosh and getting them to the pro's in one year.

Kentucky's not for everyone and that includes coaches. He changes assistant coaches and nothing changes. He changes recruiting (OAD then transfers and back to OAD) and the losing and no NCAA runs continues.

It's not even a question. He's been mailing in his entire coaching responsibilities for a few years now. And not just the recruiting. He doesn't even do many of his press conferences and radio duties anymore.

No one here thinks the incoming freshmen class is a garbage class but thinking that class in of itself is going to be a team that will compete for anything close to a championship is laughable. They likely miss the tourney. The roster is vastly incomplete even if 2 of reeves, oscar and livingston return. Adding nothing from the portal has been a colossal failure.
I still cannot believe anyone in any profession would with a clear mind would issue a contract for this amt and time with no accountability. Only in education.
