I’m going out on a limb with this guess. I’ll guess that if those images were removed, and replaced with imagery of your particular favorite mythology, you’d be fine with it. But because it’s imagery of someone else’s favorite mythology, it must go. Accurate?

I happen to think there's plenty of non-mythological, non-occult imagery to pull from American history if we're dead set on having symbols on things. I also really like Neoclassical and Georgian architecture, which is usually devoid of such symbology. Hell even Brutalist architecture, which I think is awful, doesn't incorporate any of that.
