UF -1 opening line. I get that it’s 1v1 but if this was mid season at a neutral site there is no way it’s that close.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I got Houston.

You love to see it.

I’d love to add two PFs with one being a senior brute type of guy and also get a shooter but then the numbers start seeming strained. If the idea is to bulk up Williams (absolutely love that pickup) to serve as backup 4 and also play all over the place, makes sense. Otherwise, going into the season with three big men makes me leery.

I’ll trust Pope as no reason not to, though.

Lowe and Williams are really solid additions.

I saw FL +1 and grabbed it before it went to -1. Got to think UH may have shot their wad down the stretch.

Makes me smile knowing all the Duke fans I saw in San Antonio this week had a shittier trip than me.

Was stuck on same plane 8 hrs for trip home Friday. Storms delayed, pilots ran out of hours, shitters overflowed because we didn’t de board, then flew to gulf and up to go under storms. I was in first and it was miserable, can’t imagine how bad it was in back of bus. Rolled in door at 3:15A.
AA sucks, delta guy but schedule was jacked for SAT.

Also SAT is a shit hole airport.

Houston lost to both Auburn in Houston and Bama in Vegas by 5 this season. SEC was a historic monster and Florida has proven to be the best team. Clayton is the best player in the nation. Gators by 5.

Oh I 100% agree, but I’m an against the grain bettor.

Line makes no sense and feels like a trap.

I lose sometimes and bad sometimes too. I got a weird feeling about this one despite how much I’ve been rooting the gators horn all damn year.

Two things jump out at me.

1.) Scheyer appears to be of that Cal/K mold that seemingly misunderstands great players and how to use them. Everyone in the arena knew what Duke was going to do on that last play because we knew what Duke was going to do in that scenario 5 months ago. To not use it as a diversion to get someone else a look is asking to be derided. Duke will now have another team with three legit top 10 NBA prospects not making the championship game. That's absurd.

2.) The narrative that the hold on Flagg was controversial is essentially overlooking how poorly Scheyer and Duke handled the last 90 seconds of the game. He clearly grabs and pulls the opponents left arm and they've been calling that more all tournament. The fact that he got away with a GIGANTIC hook on his final shot is more than sufficient to offset. Not to mention the guy he fouled was a 63% FT shooter who banged in two FT's to win a Final Four game.

Houston finally lived up to it's gritty persona in a big time game. You love to see it.

He had to go to Flagg there. He would have been vilified, and rightfully so, if anyone else had taken the shot. It would have been like Cal having someone beside Harrison take those big shots. Problem with Flagg is that he pretty much makes the same move every time he takes a big shot.
