The upside of having so many injuries is that Noah, Perry, and Chandler got valuable minutes that they probably don't get on a full roster as freshman. They were inconsistent as typical freshmen are but each had big plays against really tough teams.

Chandler is legit. But if I were Pope I'd make him carry around a basketball similar to Epps in the movie "The Program". He should be required to dribble it everywhere and if anybody steals it from him he has to answer to Pope. Dude gets his handle in order and we're rolling next year.

But yeah Sunday has been a little tough because I just stopped hating Bryson late last week and he’s now in my top 15-20 if not my favorite player currently with Homa, Scheffler, Schaufelle, Lowry, Woo Lee, Tom Kim, DJ, Weir, Finau, Tiger, Charlie Woods, Brooks, Cabrera, Boom Boom, Keegan, Horschel, Phil and about 45-50 others.
Then of course Justin Rose - I don’t know how many tears I’ve shed with that guy. He’s in my Top 100, maybe Top 15. He’s my ride or die.
Of course Patrick Reed is my favorite LIV guy and Lugwig is an all-timer, first heard about him in 2024 and he’s been someone I’ve watched play like 5x. Really rising up the list for me.
I actually bet on Rory and Justin to win, but I also had bets on the other 93 players too so losing money. But I do it every year.

I’ve been studying up on Druidism (Druidry?) this weekend, actually. Working on recognizing the faces of my trees.
Cubs take 2/3 from the Dodgers and lead the Central.
Looks like there is another series with them next week and then they are done with the best team in baseball for the season.

As a horticulture fan, the masters is really as good as it gets. I mainly just watch for the shots of woody ornamentals. Azaleas, laurels, rhododendrons. It has it all.

They have hubcaps missing, fenders flowing in the breeze, cracked or foggy windshields, duct tape up over a random window, and the license plates say "Fresh" and they have dice in the mirror, etc.
- Our school has decided to schedule prom on Derby Day. My daughter is a Jr and is attending. Gonna be the first Derby I've "missed" in 30+ years.
