- When the Cats are playing well and I trust our coach, March is easily the greatest month of them all.
- What an interesting season. Pope proved himself pretty early as a strong talent evaluator, excellent offensive coach, good prep coach and terrific in-game coach. So BBN felt our future was in good hands by December. We also remarkably raised our March floor so highly with big wins and our conference was historically great that despite the worst injury season of our lives and a slog through Jan/Feb, it was kinda low pressure. Not counting the lunatics, BBN seems pretty level right now.
- BBdK smartly points it out every year- adamantly pointing out tournament ceilings is foolish. Mid teams regularly make the F4. I think we’re a Top 8-15 team- as does every respectable poll, seeding and the computers. We can make a run.
- Chandler is great for a lot of reasons, not the least of which that he’s switchable offensively and defensively 1-3.
- Not mad at Thursday/Friday 9:30 tips. Everyone in the house is asleep and it’s PRIMO Dad Time. Just glad I’m not having to shoehorn the games in while working.
- Parker Posey in White Lotus is dream casting to me. Have always appreciated her work. “Fry like bacon you little freshmen bitches!” All-time 1st Team Sexy Voice.
- Being a husband and dad is pretty much hearing some variation of “can you/will you …” 25x a day the rest of your life.
- Headed to Ft. Collins in July to see the brothers in law. Never been- hear it’s a good beer-drankin town.
- I’d be more torn up about this Tiger news if I wasn’t also such a huge fan of the other 155 guys on the tour.
- Can you imagine not loving hoop and March is just some schinzo weather-teasing quasi Spring bullshit month? Like how do non-sports fans function?

First time I can actually say it doesn’t matter what we do in the SEC Tournament. We just need to stay healthy for the NCAA. If we’re healthy we can play with anyone in the country. 8 wins against top 15 teams validates that fact.

Fort Collins rules. Spent a couple fun years there for grad school. My recs would be debaucherous and probably obsolete. But just get out there and kick it in Old Town. Unlimited hiking, biking, climbing, whitewater, fishing and scenic drives within a couple hours, if you need a break from all the beer. Lots of young, fun, active, drunk people everywhere. Great town.

- Bobby Hurley given another year at Arizona State. That's surprising. The guy literally has the same total winning percentage and conference winning percentage that Herb Sendek had there when they fired him, and he has a lot more resources to work with than Herb did. Thought they'd can him and he'd work for his brother for a year or two before jumping back in. Great job, Sun Devils! Y'all got it right with your football hire, but if this guy's last name wasn't Hurley, you'd have moved on a long time ago.
- Yes, I want that honk from North Dakota. But I also want Donovan Dent as the starting PG next season. Obviously he's a great scorer and distributor, but he's also Top 11 in the MWC in steals and blocked shots per game. And they play good ball out in that conference. Give me that kid to replace Butler and we're cooking with gas in the backcourt, imo. And yes to that Yaxel kid from UAB, too.
- I don't want much in life. But one thing I do want is for the eight teams in Dayton to all be bubble teams. Give these low-major AQ teams an actual tournament experience by putting them in the round of 64. It benefits them, and it benefits the crowds/ratings for Dayton. I won't watch two low-majors in Dayton on Tuesday and Wednesday, but I would watch Arkansas-IU, Baylor-Xavier, etc. Give me four of those games, and give the kids at the low-majors what they earned.
- Made a Key Lime Pie last night, guys. It turned out fine.
