GYERO

Rather than treat GYERO as ChatGPT, I decided to google why Jon Scott's site shows Pitino coaching against 2006 and 2008 but not 2007. This was my search: "did rick pitino coach the 2007 kentucky louisville game".

Google AI's response: "No, Rick Pitino did not coach the 2007 Kentucky-Louisville game because he was coaching Louisville at the time." Thanks, Google. Eat it, @WayneDougan.

So, uh, does anyone remember why Pitino didn't coach against UK in 2007? I could only find this recap which sort of makes it seem like Pitino coached that game but isn't particularly clear. Am I just dumb and it is as simple as the game got moved from December to January one year and it throws off the numbering or something?

Shouldn’t be an issue since he stops at the FT line on offense every time down.

I prefer Brea over Chandler as the backup PG. I appreciate Chandlers efforts tonight but he is not smooth with the ball in his hands at all whereas with Brea they have to push out and guard him.

Our shots are contested, luckily we hit a good %. Their shots are wide f’n open.

Can Williams physically not play more than 25 min a game?
Amari has never averaged more than 27 minutes a game.

This year I think his minutes are managed a bit due how much effort he puts in initiating the offense and how much off ball movement and hard cuts that the offense demands (the latter goes for
everyone on the roster and why no one averages over 28).

I thought about that too but Vandy is a tough team to try to do that with as many turnovers they force. Maybe we see it a bit Saturday or
this half. It could possibly unleash him a bit like when we did it with Jax.

Chandler may have done enough to deserve a 2nd half start over Perry (he and Amari can initiate the O; you’re right about his smoothness with the ball but he’s gotten the job done so far). We went to him instead of Noah first off of the bench due to how good their guards are and needed his defense.
