If Cal thought KSR was too hard on him, how is he going to deal with the Arkansas equivalent have been saying this week? Dude has to be frothing with rage right now. I listened to the John Nabors podcast yesterday and he was absolutely skewering Cal. This is amazing. I didn't think his stint at Arkansas would be long, but it may be over after a single season. They STINK. Having said that, I still believe our game against them will be a rock fight & a decent chance Cal pulls off one of his patented "no business winning that one" wins. At least thats how I am mentally preparing myself.
I couldn't tell you who played in or won a single non-playoff bowl game this year. Love the playoff system but was definitely weird bowl season.
I love the warm seasons obviously but I've never been someone who has a problem with the sun setting early in the winter months. So it gets dark at 5:30 when its 18 degrees outside. Ok? What were you gonna mow the lawn tonight or something? Have a baseball game to attend? No? Ok so who gives a shit. People just like to complain. Its January. Go inside, light your fireplace & watch a ballgame. You have all summer to go outside and milk the cows until sunset. Relax man!
Speaking of former posters, whatever happened to Chauncey? I remember him posting quite a bit right as I started reading this page, somewhere around 2009, but then he stopped posting & never did again. There are several others, I'm sure but his name stuck in my mind.
Love the '93 throwback shorts. Those uniforms need to be in the normal rotation. I swear it seems like every Nike school in the conference gets better looking gear than we do. Feeling like the denim will return 2/1. Should be an all-time environment.

When I was a kid I got so sick my dad took me to the hospital and they had to give me some sort of medicine via rectal suppository. If I found out today that the nurse who gave that to me could have just given me a pill to swollow and “enjoyed the experience”, what’s the level of mental distrsss warranting damages should I have?

I still think the '78 throwbacks should be our standard jersey.
On a lot of the alternates, it seems like the road blues are better. People keep talking about the Demims and wondering if they might wear them vs. Arkansas, but I’m not sure it would have the same effect in white. (Further, I wouldn’t suggest changing anything for that game. You gotta win it. Can’t have people asking if the unis felt uncomfortable or something and helped Cal win.)
I love the 97 jerseys. Mercer and Anderson rocked the hell out of those.

I'm still livid over Stoops bed-shitting, but I have to admit piglet has done a decent job in the portal.
UK rugby won is 2nd National Championship in a row recently. They are Div 2, but it's still a pretty amazing accomplishment considering they are a club team and get zero support from UK.
I'm do thankful that Cal is no longer our coach. It's amazing how different his career at UK was before and after the Wisconsin game.
Speaking of turning points, pretty sure you can trace Stoops inversion to one play. That damned fake punt from Mizzou last year. Everyone except Stoops knew they weren't punting from our 40 when their kicker had hit a 60+ harder the week before.
Brought my dad to the hospital early this morning for an outpatient surgery he had scheduled for 730 am. Fukkers didn't take him back until noon.
FCPS is run by a fairy from Texas. No one should be surprised that he canceled 8 days of classes because of some snow. They used to have backup plans for this stuff.
The IU doctor fingerings basketball players buttholes is so on brand for a Big 10 school, especially IU. Entire state is butthole.
Been going through some Red Clay Strays, Billy Strings, and even dug up some old Steeldrivers here lately.
Taking the kids to Disney next week. Pretty sure they're more excited about the flight down.

Yeah, I've thought about the fact that our denims wouldn't pop the same in home whites, so I assumed they'd get a special waiver from president trump to wear the blues for a home game. Let arkansas wear the slobbering hog reds. Again I ask, who cares???!!!

Was at the game and am pretty sure the Denim uniforms were first brought out against Ark in Rupp in 96. Seems like destiny to me....
Buzz Williams kind of reminds me of Stoops, tbh. In some ways, they are both essentially bougie new money jerkoffs who are absolutely infuriating to opponents.

Those denim uniforms were ****ing AWFUL. How have people forgotten that? We won a national title wearing a GD Canadian tuxedo. Eat shit, Converse.
They were hated as soon as they were introduced. Other than winning a championship , no nostalgia for them. No wonder Converse sold out to Nike in the 2000's, someone in marketing should have lost a job over it. Those 1978 and 1998 uniforms are so clean and beautiful and then there's 1996. They are the "Derelicte" of sports uniforms.
