Sounds like we’re in really good shape for Caleb Wilson barring a huge overpay by Arky. They have the biggest offer now but we’re close enough to it to make it work.

He wants to be here and is friends with Jasper and Lewis.

Lemond said today that Arkansas leads currently but he knows as much about recruiting as he does about nuclear physics.

Switching to Mistobox coffee subscription. Better roasters and not shipped via USPS (which blows). PassionHouse LSD, Klatch, Cafe Vita are dope. DrinkTrade keeps assigning NYC roasters to my queue and basically they all suck. NYC is way behind in the coffee scene and they keep attaching me to these losers because the shipping via the postal service takes 5 days from anywhere else. Eff you. Pacific NW, SF, Chicago know what they’re doing.

Speaking of things that suck from NYC… the Yanks defense has been abhorrent all year (and baserunning). I know Cole didn’t run to cover, but Jesus - Rizzo looked like a Sunday softball league cigar store Indian out there… he could’ve attempted to charge the ball. In any case, Boone is a retard. We don’t deserve Soto. Fin.

If Jayroon is correct and we are leading for all these BB recruits, me thinks #9 is around the bend. There was no hope with the last guy.

81° for Halloween today. 4 years ago we got a 12” blizzard🤪. Kid is going as a skeleton. I told him he looked like Johnny from the Karate Kid. No clue.

Work. Market rate condo in Williamsburg service proposal going out today. Fingers crossed.

Thank God for Breeders Cup this weekend will divert my attention from the football cats. That unavailability chart seals it.
Need a football cleanse. Will be skipping attending Murray game and will hit up a CBB game that day instead.

Mitch worried about NIL money being diverted. There are enough small business owners out there who would give to NIL that weren't giving to Mitch already.

Towns with 44 last night, Herro 34 in same game.

What’s amazing about Pope’s recruiting is how well he’s doing already and especially since we haven’t played any real games yet.

I thought after kids saw his system, he’d be able to get elite kids that fit his system. I thought that would take a year but he’s been able to do that a year earlier than I thought he would though.

He’ll stay away from 5 stars that don’t fit the system and won’t care if a kid is ranked lower than another if they fit the system better.

That’s a refreshing change with how recruiting was in that we were hellbent on getting #1 classes just so we could say we had the #1 class.

No more lumping rosters together that don’t fit (with mostly either one and dones or kids that think they should be one and dones) and no more taking months to find each team’s offensive identity.

-I sadly was rooting for the Yankees solely because of Rizzo and his Chicago connection. Happy for Walker Buehler though as his been great to my boys in the past.

-Lately, if I put money on a team on DraftKings, they lose. The streak continues with the Yankees.

-The Bourbon Bust is real. Finding stuff you could never find on shelves or at crazy secondary prices quite regularly these days. Which also sucks because lately I've been drinking way less bourbon. My shelves and storage is packed and I really need to thin the herd.

-The boys youth football is closely coming to an end. Both have really done a great job this season and it's been awesome to watch them play and love a sport other than baseball. Its my oldest boys first year of playing football and so proud of how far he's come. Already starting on defense and backup running back to the main starter, getting a few TDs this year. Youngest son is just a freak athlete regardless of what sport and probably not even mine. He has been averaging 2 TDs a game. Last week two QB option plays = 2 TDs and 100+ yards against Anderson County. Proud dad stuff for real.

-Standby generator ordered. Going to laugh at my neighbors like Geese in my warm house with the lights and TV on when the next 3 day power outage occurs. #profit

-May not even watch UK play football this weekend. If I didn't see a shit kicked loss, it never really happened in my mind.

-NIL at UK......... SO much Id like to say, but I can't. It needs a complete overhaul though.

-Was excited to hear that the Dominion voting booths nationally are having issues when you click straight ticket, and probably can't be fixed before the election. How convenient.

-Election cant get over soon enough. Will be happy to stop receiving donation request text messages from Brother Donald every 8 minutes throughout the day. I did get a sweet autographed headshot the last election though.

-Cant wait to watch Kerr Kriisa get into some MFers heads this basketball season.

I work closely with a couple in the NW and CA, they are on point. One just opened an operation in Chicago. But damn, $23/lb for coffee is pretty steep, but maybe in line with retail, which is not my ballpark. Roaster is going to have $6-8/lb in the beans and to cover the nut.

Expect the pricing to go up soon, drought issues, logistical issues, and overall slower crop drove supply down so coffee pricing shooting back up. I buy futures to lock in pricing on beans but its been ridiculously volatile the last few yrs. Same with Cocoa, 15-25% increase going on with Chocolate right now, conveniently around Halloween.

-I'm apathetic towards UK football... wake me when a significant change happens. Will always be a fan... just not worrying about something I have no control over.

^if *nonessential* something/someone doesn't bring me joy or at worst pleasant distraction... I'm not spending time on it. Life is short.

-happy w/ UKBB. Not too worried about record (this year)... just happy that the program isn't being held hostage anymore.

-I pay next to zero attention to politics these days. Happy to discuss philosophy... but the day to day stuff is a cesspool. Been there/done that. I'm good.

-soup season is here. Made a nice beef stew Sunday... used ny strip in lieu of round/chuck. Highly recommend.

-primarily an empty nester now... both at UK so we seee em plenty. Finding things to stay busy.

-state tennis tournament in Owensboro a couple weeks ago. Nice little town.

-headed to SD in a week... should come back with plenty o' pheasant. Never been... nice to check a state off the list.

-wanna go see Northern lights. I was thinking Yellowknife Canada (get some fishing in). Mrs Rudd prefers Iceland... so I'm prolly going to Iceland soon.

-Halloween hits different with no kids around. Granted they haven't been little for a bit... but they helped with trick-or-treaters. The extent of our decorating was switching out porchlights to flickering led bulbs.

^enjoy your kids while they are young. The days are long but the years are short.

* It's going to be odd this year, watching Andrew Carr handle the ball, spread the offense out, shoot 3s, distribute, score in a variety of ways. You know, play basketball the way god intended. I'm not going to name names, but there are other coaches out there who would have him camping out in the post and work on his drop step, pivot, and pump fake all season.

* I love my dogs. Absolutely love them. They're like my children. In fact, I love mine more than you people love your children.

But the people who insist on bringing theirs everywhere are truly an annoyance. Bars, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Everyone thinks their pets are absolute angels, until they're not. Leave the critters at home, please.

* Just go ahead and admit that whole home generators barely have a utilitarian value. It's a vanity project. I've been in my house, in Hurricane Central, for almost 12 years. The number of total days I've been without power I can probably count on one hand.

It's okay to tell the truth -- you're sitting around praying for the one 24 hour period the entire year where you can do this:

If it was truly about dollars and cents, you'd literally save the $$$ you would spend on that thing and just take a trip to Cancun every time a serious weather event was headed your way.

* For the 32nd consecutive year, 187 countries in the United Nations voted to lift the US embargo on Cuba. Only two countries voted in favor of the continued embargo -- one is the US. The other is a terrorist country in the Middle East. I seriously hate our government 99% of the time. How does this make sense, and how does it help you and your family?

* Speaking of kids -- all of your children and their Halloween costumes are absolutely adorable. My facebook feed on 11/1 long ago changed from slooty pics to kid pics, and I'm totally for it. Enjoy your night and all of its festivities, GYERO moms and dads.

* Top 5 garbage posters:

1> chiefpaduke
2> UKO
3> kickingphag
4> HymanKaplan
5> B.Money

* A tradition unlike any other....

* The Dodgers spent $1.3 billion last winter, won the World Series with ease, and may end up landing Juan Soto this year. They're a runaway freight train at this point. The only thing standing between them and a repeat championship is a rejuvenated Cincinnati Reds team.

* Katy Perry has staged a pretty big time comeback, is hotter than ever, and she's really not getting the attention she deserves. Can we get some props for K-Perr and her world class chest beefs?

Keep the Espresso recs coming. Ordered a couple bags of that ReAnimator Kensington when you mentioned, love it.

-Believe Ap.com and I have been without power 6 separate times in the last year alone. Above ground lines and 100 year old oak trees everywhere. So, definitely not a vanity project for us. Also, when you have actual kids and refrigerators/deep freezes full of food... not vanity. Pro tip, make sure your front lights and landscap lights are on the transfer panel so you can flex. Bonz is having BHCPE install a generator this week. Didn't see Boober on the schedule though. Guess my next leaf blower is coming from Lowes.

-Walker F Buehler. Unreal.

-Weather been perfect for 6 weeks and again the next 10 days. But today, solid chance for storms and wind. F*ck off, Chad.

-Uber is just making shit up these days with wait times and we're always on surge pricing. Still better than the disgusting options you get with Lyft.

-USPS does indeed suck bawls.

-Been stated but how refreshing to not have to worry about offensive style of play? Our biggest concerns are currently due to personnel limitations rather than an ego maniac so consumed with doing it his way he'd rather blow the season than play a style best suited for his team.

-Watch out for my boy Big AL(monor). He gon steal some minutes. Dude just plays good ball.

-Not long ago I upgraded to a 40" gaming style monitor, rather than multiple screens. What a game changer. So sleak, desk is cleared up. Way better resolution. It's beautiful.

-Solid grinder, coffee maker and roaster subscription is an absolute must if you give a shit about quality. We get a different brand from a small roaster every week. All organic and fresh. Worship.

-Currently in Club XC, Winter Baseball, Basketball and hitting/pitching lessons. Lol. Oh well, marcus lean into it. We'll blink and we'll be empty nester headed to see the Northern Lights in Iceland. I'm not wearing those weird ass sandals though.

I almost never use Lyft around here, but when traveling I've started checking both...and last few trips, especially Chicago, Lyft has been the easy winner most of the time - could be b/c I have Lyft Premium or whatever it's called through a credit card.

Katy Perry is one of my all time favorites. Also underrated mid-life baddies are Paris Hilton and Andrea Canning.

Halloween is a top 3 Facebook day. First day of school and Xmas are also in the mix. Rank them however you want, but it’s one of the purest days of the year for that garbage app. This years costume lineup
15yo - don’t think he’s trick or treating. Will be his first year skipping it. Kinda sad. If he calls an audible and goes with the younger kids tonight I won’t be mad. Guessing if he does it’ll be costume-less. I’m ok with that too. He’s a good kid!
13yo - wearing his Freddie freeman dodgers jersey and bball shorts.
10yo - Cookie Monster
3yo - generic ninja

It’s kinda nice seeing teenagers trick or treat imo. I was done at 7th grade but there’s tons of my kids friends still going these days.

My neighborhood is eventually going to be an elite trick or treat neighborhood. Still under construction so it’ll be a few years before it really takes off. But we’re going to give it a shot tonight. Really wish I had a golf cart. That is THE status symbol on Halloween. Maybe next year.

Looking forward to a moral victory Saturday night. If we lose by 20+ I’d like to see the Kentucky players dump mark stoops into the Knoxville river. Let dick Gabriel interview him while hes being tied to a 2x6 right before they hoist him overboard. Hire Jon Sumrall as hc and Neal brown as OC. Launch bush Hamden into space where he came from. Martian ass weirdo

Same in Lex, and I used to be a lyft 1st guy, but the last few rides have been in pretty rough cigarette/puke smelling cars.

-I’ve never used Lyft and not really sure why, get a free Lyft membership with my CC too so we’ll see what happens

-I’m in pure Halloween heaven with my 3 kids right now. Daughter is a witch, son a vampire, youngest a TRex. I’ll dress up like Frankenstein cause my kids like it - trying to value the advice I get from the Rudds of the world where my kids currenty think I’m awesome and want to do everything with me.

-My suburb insists on having it on the 31st every year - last year was a Monday ( 🙄 ) so thankful it’s Thursday this year. Going to the old neighborhood since we moved to a private drive with no one and drinking with the old neighbors.

- Happy Halloween GYERO

Your kids playing in Conf 127 for Woodford? JV or Varsity?

optimal bean cure is 3 days after roast date on package. The three days allow for necessary offgassing. If you get a bag of beans with a roast date over 10 days, GTFOH.

Trade coffee was doing this on the reg. No grinder can fix it as you’ll be chasing down the grind size to dial it in and you waste half the bag in the process.

ReAnimator is not in Mistobox roaster lineup, but the others listed are legit. When I get a hankering I will order direct. Klatch won the World Barista Championship a few years back and it still hits.

Coffee is my Tour de France… I could talk forever and no one understands or cares.

Sorry dog. We are now a Vanguard Power dealer selling Home Stand bys as I can do the warranty and maintenance on them with my techs. You guys are the only ones who touch my HVAC though. Enjoy your throw away, low power, Ghey AF Lowes Blower. Do you even do yard maintenance? I thought you had a guy for that.

Remember that time I came to your last house on Cooper with that ride on blower that could blow cement blocks? That thing is stupid fun to blow leaves with. Not really ideal for a Cooper yard though.

I'm no ThroughBlue but my local school district is shitty 99% of the time. They amended the school calendar a few years back to always have a teacher workday after Halloween. I married a teacher, this is a most beneficial change for our family.

If it can blow those stank Ginko berries to Indiana, that’s the right machine.

Our gritty ass defense is something I guess I didn’t expect. Not till I saw it. We obviously have long guys out there, but the constant effort, and not giving up on plays….That’s why we’ll win games. Shots falling or not, we are going to try to win. That’s all you can ask for.

Y’all gonna finally ban Matt Jones and catsfag, or will you just let OG Clown back, ffs man…
WTF are you ? I don't really care who you are or what you contribute, but you can EAD, then GFY.

Nick Richards with a nice 24 / 14 / 4 / 4 stat line. On the year averaging 13.5 PPG / 11.75 RPG / 2 APG / 2.5 Blocks. Double / Double every game except opening night. Due gets no mentions by fans, kind of a forgotten Cat.

- WFH in the Highlands where old trees and lines knocked out neighbors power for 7 days across the street. Combined with being in this pad for the next 10-20, it’s an easy check to hand Bryant.

- Caught a glimpse of Duke v SMU replay and it makes me irrationally angry at the blue devils getting our old Pantone uniform swatch.

- Need you to upgrade to this grinder for spresmarts. Damn near threw my shoulder out Saturday trying to push through those course grounds.

- I would judge every house in my neighborhood by their Halloween candy tribute and have made it a point to not be on the little tykes sh*t list. Nothing but Reese’s full size doled out at the Nation.

- Stihl electric leaf blower does the job but can’t go green for string trimming.

- Takes solace in the fact Soto’s only ring came with the Nats and all those who departed the WS team for Philly have flamed out.

- May just find a cool group of UT fans and lie to them about how great their bbq is if they let me hang there and avoid seeing the gridiron bloodbath.

- Speaking of bloodbath - have yourself a day, NASDAQ ☠️

- My wife is a Wodie Sloot level psycho when it comes to pets. Don’t know how many times I’ve been driving us somewhere only to hear her on the phone asking, “are you all dog friendly?” I mean we’re going to Cracker Barrel. Of course, Blue can’t come. But I have to accept it for the sake of a healthy marriage. There’s no talking sense to her about it. It’s like trying to talk to Brady about Kentucky football.

- At 45, I’ve come to have a fairly good grasp on where people are coming from on most subjects. One that continues to confuse me though is the women with a gut who wear halter tops. This is a fairly common phenomenon when I’m in public- the zoo, the Levee, etc. Most women I’ve come across are very particular about playing to their strengths with clothing. They will rarely chance something that will make their ass look flat/too big, for instance; yet here we have this subset of gutted women going with a look only the most bold, confident and fit would dare to try. I’m befuddled.

- Looking forward to Rob bitching about poor kids com to his posh neighborhood in search of full-sized Snickers tomorrow. Where is that dude?

- At Halloween time, even the most self-righteous let it all go and apparently don’t GAF about pumping some “Thriller.” Good. Still bumping “I Believe I Can Fly” on some playlists.

- Katy Perry has/had (🤷🏻‍♂️?) an all-timer set of natties. Always liked her personality too, if NOT her art.

- Rain or not, the show MUST go on tonight. You can catch me with a barely concealed long pour of some of my better brown water hand-in-hand with the cutest, most fun little girl in the world tonight.

- Go ahead and RACK me like its 2004.

Bonzo, a true American and Real Man. Nothing like the smell of 2 Cycle exhaust in the air when cutting weeds or cutting logs with a big ass Stihl chainsaw. Battery is fine if you don't mind recharging every 20-30 minutes though.

I don't do espresso at home, but this site has great coffee at a good price, and you can buy in bulk. No complaints with my modest baratza grinder and moccamaster setup.

You, or especially their girlfriends, cannot tell them how bad they look, so they have no shame. No one wants to see that but society won't allow us to tell them the truth. It all went downhill when we allowed bridesmaid speeches at weddings, post mid 90's.

As an older dude, the naughty nurses have become the sagging nurses. No one wants to see that.

Generator is a must in neighborhoods with "character".

Looking like you have no shame is a big selling point for some. One man's trash and whatnot.

My lot is loaded with mature oaks, maples and poplars. Bought the biggest leaf blower Home Depot had when we moved here and may have to upgrade to something industrial next time. Might get one of those tethered jetpacks and just point it at the leaves instead of down at the ground.

I love a good espresso and was once a bit of a coffee snob, but now it's Dunkin in a Mr. Coffee for me on a daily basis. Gets the job done. They're pretty strict on the 3 days after roast date for optimal bean cure thing, so it works out.

I’ve got a dog. It’s a 10lb Yorkie mix that takes giant dumps that get stuck on the long hair around her asshole. So a few times a year I gotta go out into the backyard and hold her up with one arm (ass towards me) and take a pair of shears to her to cut the giant golfball sized dingleberries out of her butt-hair. Meanwhile she’s actively trying to bite me while I balance said shears mere inches away from the main arteries in my forearm. I don’t wish death on her, but I do take comfort knowing she won’t live forever.
