They took a 9 point deficit to a ten point lead in a very small amount of time. They can play defense when they want to. Why they choose not to 99% of the time is beyond me.
Seth Davis is absolutely right. Big Z is the key guy.
Not ideal but coming back from large deficits in the 2nd half in back to back games is a wonderful skill to have in March. Could’ve panicked in both games but didn’t.
They are better off without Mitchell but you have to think there is going to be a huge tourney game where he shows up.

It is Z and Bradshaw without looking. Ugo has been missing in action since he got the start really.
I would guess it’s pretty close between them.
I watched a few minutes, saw Keion Brooks’ awkward ass-out three point form and changed the channel.
The character of this team is as impressive as its offense.
Bradshaw had every reason to not play, especially after his injury. Has a talented big in Z commit late. Then has Ugo start over him…knowing he had top 5 draft pick hype preseason.
Reed could have the mentality that Edwards has struggled most of the season and he has balled out…
Dilly could have the same attitude towards Wagner.
Etc.
Yet everyone has had each other’s back and looked out for the good of the unit.
With the NIL, who is getting what, agents now legally allowed to be in player’s ears, social media going bonkers…incredibly impressive that this team, especially this young “gets it.”

Multiple times when Mitchell was in the game I’m thinking if that was Z he’d have hit the open man standing alone in the corner.
