No that anonymous coach isnt an assistant with a better roster than ours because how many rosters better than ours even exist this season? Maybe one or two? We have all the pieces we just have a washed, fat greaseball as head coach.

Well the whole statement is based on us not putting the roster together very well so he clearly disagrees with you, anonymously though.

For some odd reason my gym started playing “Cotton-eyed Joe” during my lift today and I immediately started looking for a football to throw out the front door.

Best job I ever had was working at the local country club as a teenager. Outside mowing and golf course maintenance. Paid minimum wage but I learned more about irrigation, repairing fittings and pipes, golf cart and mower maintenance, how to operate backhoes and front loaders. They let us basically loose to do whatever we said we knew how to do. Cheap labor for them. Just the kids of rednecks that weren't scared to drive or operate anything. You could shovel for hours or learn a smarter way

The rest was basically caddyshack. Smoking weed all day, the golf pro would bring us beer late in the day. The sprinkler system was on a automatic board so we would screw with morning regulars that were assholes. Had a pool with teenage girl lifeguards.

Never seriously played or tried to learn tho.

Why not with the current watered down fields? He should be able to get both(wins/majors) if he can play 6-7 times a year over the next 5-8 years. He knows he has a nice window until Liv gets sorted.
Tiger would need 26% of the majors he has to break Jack. Biggest fan ever but the over/under is prob .5. And no, I’m not getting into a Tiger major bet.

Working at a CC was a phenomenal job. Zero inventory management in the turnhouse at the one I worked until my dipshit co-worker put a half drank beer back in the fridge. Ruined it for all of us.

Kyle Tucker with another top-notch piece.

Anonymous assistant coach: “It comes down to this: They didn’t put their team together well,” the assistant said. “For them, it’s almost like damned if you do, damned if you don’t. Your best chance is really just outscoring people, so you might as well keep an offensive lineup, because if you put out a defensive lineup, you ain’t gonna be that damn good defensively … and you lose offense, which is what gives you your edge.”

This goes to my theory that Cal just basically recruits to rankings and not to specific needs. I think it’s ultra important to him to have the top ranked class which in theory should have the most kids drafted, and drafted 1st Rd/Lottery. And let’s face it, that is what is most important.

Cal recruited four stars...SGA, Herro, Booker, Shep, Juzang, WCS I think it's fair to say he has an eye for some talent.

Bummer for Tiger. But not a surprise per se.

Kids these days will likely never experience the cool uncle, boss, friend’s dad that would slide you a couple beers on the regular because they couldn’t help but put it on socials and get everyone in trouble.

For me it was 25-26 yrs ago. Our towns beer and liquor license laws were still ancient but they were always loaded under the table. Would sell us kids 12 packs on Fridays.

Boss said he didn't care what we did at night just don't pass out on the course for the early birds to find drunk teenages sprawled out on the cart paths.

We did our best

Who had a more astounding drop off? Tiger or Tyson? If you would have told me in 2009 that Woods would only

Man, this brings back some great memories and life lessons learned. I remember that women at my club played on Tuesday mornings. A prominent lady at our club once ordered a screwdriver from me at the turn. I told her we didn't sell liquor, but would be happy to get her a beer or wine. She told me if she were a man and ordered one I'd get it for him. I said "interesting logic ma'am, but I don't even have liquor at the turn so I wouldn't get a man a drink either".

So I basically flexed on a pretty powerful member. It was beautiful and showed me that as a young high school kid I could stick up for myself. And when I met up with her on the 11th tee to deliver her the screwdriver she ordered I realized that prominent people have mechanisms to get what they want.

How in the hell is Jay Williams still employed by ESPN? He is an absolute moron and has been for years. He stated this morning on Gameday that Caitlyn Clark isn’t an elite player in the history of women’s CBB. Jay Bilas pretty much called him an idiotic moron. Seth Greenburg just put his head in his hands and laughed at him. I’m no women’s CBB, but it’s indisputable that she is among the greatest and I will stop to watch her play. Don’t think he is a contrarian and is the definition of stupid.

I still believe Kentucky can beat anyone on any given day, but to whoever said name a team that is elite on both offense and defense because you can't be both...

Auburn is ranked 7th in defensive efficiency and 12th in offensive efficiency. I am not sure if that qualifies as "elite" but it's at least pretty close.

Anyway, GO CATS!!

Agree on Jay Williams. The table had a good debate about Cal, although the low-light was when Williams led it off by proclaiming that Cal will only leave UK if Cal chooses.

No shit, Sherlock - *that* is the problem.

Interesting debate though, Williams, Bilas and Seth basically saying the game has changed so we shouldn't expect as many championships, but Rece challenged them on that with cold facts and logic.

Draya is actually pretty good. Or maybe just better than I expected.

Jay also said that Cal has 7 NBA Allstars so why would UK fans be upset? I don’t know Jay, maybe setting new low points every season. Jackass

Yes, my head almost exploded then.

That's the whole effing point - UK fans don't value NBA picks / accomplishments over Ws and Championships. Nor should we.

I guess that's typical ACC / Duke perspective. As a Bama grad, Rece knows that sh*t don't fly with BBN and I'm glad he countered.

She doesn’t fit his narrative and to act like that is crazy is, well, crazy.

At least I can appreciate Vitale or or Corso Walton for their personalities. Jay brings nothing.

I think he’s willing to work 24/7 and do anything like Ryan Clark.

Jay Williams and Greg McElroy have the same condition where you can tell they are talking faster than they are thinking. They constantly have to double down on whatever they just said to avoid letting people know that they are worthless as talking heads

Yesterday’s blood transfusion for my wife turned into an overnight stay and 4 bags of blood being transfused just to get her hemoglobin to an 8 today. The goal is to get her normal by Wednesdays surgery which is a twelve.

The situation isn’t dire or anything but is eye opening how bad her numbers are off and why she is what I call her, insane!

Anyway, go cats. Doubt I muster up much energy if we lose to be pissed, but by gawd if we win I’ll be celebrating!
