Eh, SC hasn't given up 80 points a single time, through 19 games. They dominated the gameplan, straight bullied us, and we did little to try and get them out of it. We were all systems failure awful offensively...and that was led mostly by horrific guard play, and selfish basketball. The ball movement was non-existent, and DJ was holding/pounding the ball more than ever. Dumb lineups didn't help, but Cal always does those, even when we're scoring 100 - last night was beyond egregious obvs.

If 3 of our 4 guards play marginal-to-awful, which they did, we're just gonna look like absolute shit, period. And we don't have the defense to overcome it, clearly...which is the much bigger concern.

Our offense is gonna be good-to-great *most games, as it has been all season.

The Wagner/left stuff is ridiculous, btw. Surely Welch/staff are on him about this...but it's not showing up.

Dude actually had a breakaway vs UGA, and attempted an actual layup-drill right handed crip, and it was so uncomfortable for him that he nearly broke his leg and missed it - dude simply cannot jump off his left foot. The few times he's actually taken the right side that's given to him he has to put up some awkward wrong-footed looking thing..but his mission is to get to the left side at all costs...even when the right side parts for him, as it often does.

I love the kid & He's been playing mostly really good ball overall of late, but NBA scouts can't like what they see overall, imo. He's extremely limited in what he can actually do out there if scouted properly.

- I mean I can admit that we were pretty much handled for 30-35 minutes yesterday. Never in the game pretty much the entire second half. Never made a run, never made it interesting.

- This is a team of soft big guys, and maybe soft little guys as well. That means there will be problems the rest of the SEC, SEC tourney, and the big dance.

- Still trying to understand how a lot of folks are waiting for Edwards to break out like Michael Jordan. Maybe he was MJ like in the third grade, but I never saw that in his high school vids, or so far at UK. If break out means score 8 points, get 2 rebounds, maybe.

- Last night was a prime example of having a coach more interested in getting kids to the NBA than winning at UK. Team playing like crap, down at the half, not only starts Edwards but gives him tons of playing time.

- Seriously, absolutely drilled by South Carolina. South Carolina. And I don't even know their coaches name.

- We going on almost 10 years without a final four. It will take a miracle to go there this year.

- I will say it again, I will take the ten loss, early march exit that is coming, and an NIT the year after, if it means next year we have a new coach who wipes the slate clean, and starts over with his players and his system.

- We all know how this is going to end.

Well, you should know his name. It’s Lamont Paris. He came into Rupp last year as a 18.5 dog and kicked Cal’s ass there too.

Some are blinded by the talent and possibility. I know I am. But the fact remains Cal lost his desire. He had something to prove and did it. That guy is gone. The last five years he should be embarrassed. He gets and has gotten millions to build the 7-8 man roster every year.

It not us. It’s him.

Cal should’ve pulled a Rick and had the team bus take the team to the Craft Center as soon as the plane landed. Make em practice defensive slides until they puke. Teach them how to hate losing.

The 60 year old plus version of Cal doesn’t have that in him.

That’s probably against the law or something in today’s world.

I bet it's comical how much lighter workouts/practices are these days compared to what Pitino put his KY teams through. This team needs a major kick in the rear end and its not going to come from their HC or staff. Just too many egos and outside handlers they have to deal with now.

And to top it off, because of you fat ankle losers, we've seen the sun like 3 hours in the last 3 weeks with at least 7 more days until it comes back out. Nothing better than 45, rain, slush, salt, and constant darkness. All so you al can have an excuse to be a lazy fat slobs. There's not enough vitamin d in the world to put up with this shit.

That's all on you, bub. You pray and pray for the absolute warmest weather possible, regardless of month/season.

Welp, when that happens in January ---> you get rain, slop, and typically severe storms. Congrats on it not being cold during winter this week & upcoming tho, your prayers have been answered. Picnic time, WooHooo!!!!!

I called Weather yesterday and told him to make it especially wet and windy in Montclair the rest of the winter. Eat shit, HVAC Boy.

Glad we give all of the leverage to kids, parents and or handlers when they will play or come back from an injury.

It used to be that the head fng coach made that call with the blessing from medical professionals but nah we can’t do that at Kentucky.

It’s always a damn circus with injuries. Can we not have ONE season with our full roster from league play forward? That’s not even the entire year. I’m just asking for January, February and March.

Hell I’d accept a clear basketball injury with a reasonable recovery time and clear return date.

“Fland sprained his ankle- as you could clearly see on that replay. I’ve been speaking with him multiple times a day. His AAU coach called yesterday and I told him the same thing I’m about to tell you, Tom. This tends to be a two-week recovery time and if he’s not back for Mississippi State, he’s being a bitch about it and I likely won’t play him again. So yeah, you can expect to see him in Starkville.”

Do another one. That was like taking heroin. Just made me feel better and after one time I’m addicted.
