Have never worked out a day in my life. Grew up working since I was young on friends farms. Can still throw a casting net for over an hour without taking a break and I’m older than dirt. Use the casting to move the boat around instead of using the trolling motor when catching bait, because I can.

Guys and gals of GYERO, I can't thank you enough, along with everyone else around the state and country, who are chipping in to help. It's insane the amount of calls we get and the amount of supplies and necessities that are piling up.

Earlier Clown talked about wanting to come help physically. Now and in the next few days is when that would be welcome if you're so inclined. The best spot to find information on what and where is the WPSD website and Marshall County Fiscal Court Facebook page. I also believe Graves County has a page set up that tells folks how to pitch in.

Also, don't forget about some of the other counties that aren't getting as much media attention (Hopkins, Warren, and Muhlenberg, among others). They got hit hard also.

There was a NKY supply drop off at Beechwood this week, intended to end Thursday, aiming to fill a semi. * I live in Ohio now, but I'll always be a Kentuckian in my heart. There was never a doubt the Commonwealth would rally together to help those devastated by the tornadoes.

* For those of you who made donations or entered the Bourbon Derby last year, the Chris Krentz Memorial Fund has donated $500 to Matthew 25 Ministries for KY Tornado Relief, $1,250 to a needy family in Bellevue thru their HS Family Resource Center, a $1,000 scholarship for a NKY student at Gateway Community and Technical College and $1,000 to The Barracks Project for former Marines. Of course the majority of what is raised goes to a fund for the family.

A lot of you came thru in a big way. Thank you.

* My shorthanded 4 graders took one on the chin Saturday. We suffered our first loss 18-13. Couldn't make a basket. We might be back to full strength on Sunday. Big road game.

* Made a pot roast with potatoes & carrots on Sunday. Hadn't done that in years. That is a meal I hated when I was little and grew to love as I got older. So good.

* I can't afford to have our Cats lose to the Buckeyes again. Please, please, please Basketball Gods. I need this one.

I want to like my team.
