I was up until midnight looking for the GD thing to put it out in time for December 1st. I thought for sure it was in the basement in the Elf on the Shelf box hidden on top of the wine rack. When I opened the box… no elf. So I went through literally every single tub in the basement and when the elf wasn’t there, I finally gave up and was going to concoct a story to write up from the elf. Then I remembered the stupid thing was in a basket in the top of my closet.

It is dumb and remembering to move it ain’t easy. But he’s only little once. Who knows how much longer he’ll believe in elf and Santa. 😔

This is the correct post. The throw was so inexplicable that the umpire didn’t even bother getting in position to make a call at the plate. A frozen rope from the warning track to home - unreal.

Mother in law not doing well… wife dippin down to Louisville week between Christmas & NYE to visit. So it’s me and the boys. * Thursday - Museum of Natural History. West entrance at opening time… straight to dinosaurs . Meeting colleague and his kids - up to Harlem Red Rooster for late lunch with kiddos

* Friday - hiking with dog at Storm King Arts Center

Wednesday and Monday May flip dependent on weather.
