What are you going to do with a pontoon boat? Retake Omaha beach?
Sandbars and the reef, cuzzy Bubba. I’m not trying to get to the Bahamas or Cuba.
- Where is boat? Is this his month to work or something? Work a month; take 4 off, right?

- 30 KNOTS mf'ers!

- I'm not an aerodynamical expert, but it seems like it would be easier for a flat bill to fly off one's head than a curved bill. Surface area and whatnot.

- Pork fried rice: Soup or nah?
Think of a sailboat’s sails. When they’re really honking they’re curved not straight.

Pro tip, If it is not served in a bowl, and MOSTLY consist of some form of liquid, it is not a GD soup.

Hey gang, is peanut butter and jelly considered a soup ? Please respond.

Soups can and often do get confused with / grouped with it's cousin of potted cuisine, stew. Soups usually, but not always are more of a liquid based, where as stew is more of a gravy type base. A couple of dishes that are often considered in both groups are :

Menudo (No not the Mexican boy band of the 80's), but a very popular Mexican favorite that is mainly made using tripe (cow, pig, and sheep stomach) and hominy. Yummy.

Stews are more thick, vegetable and meat based. Some popular stews are :

Beef Stroganoff - A very tasty Russian stew main ingredients are saut`eed beef and sour cream.

Booyah - Originated in Belgium popular in upper Midwestern US. Meats commonly used beef, pork, chicken and mixed with carrots, peas, onions, celery, and potatoes and seasoned with several spices. Like a vegetable beef soup, but thicker base

Brunswick Stew - Origination is disputed by people in the Virginia's and Carolina's, and Georgia. - Tomato based stew with lots of different beans (lima, butter, etc.), veggies (okra, corn, potatoes), and originally small game meat (rabbit, squirrel, even possum), today, mostly chicken and rabbit in Virginia, pork in Georgia.

Burgoo - Kentucky made famous. Lawrenceburg and Owensboro lay claims to "Burgoo capital Of The World". It was considered a communal effort with townspeople would all bring ingredients and cooked in huge pots to serve a large group. Often served with cornbread or corn muffins. Similar to Irish Stew and Mulligan Stew. Several types of meat (venison, squirrel, possum, racoon, turtle, and game birds). Today it mostly consist of beef, mutton or beef,, pork, and chicken. Combined with several vegetables (lima beans, corn, okra, cabbage, tomatoes, and potatoes), and numerous spices. It is a slow, long-cooked dish, and other than the vegetables, often cornstarch, cornmeal, or potato starch will be used as a thickening agent.

Chili Con-Carne - Mexican spicy- stew containing Chili peppers, beef, tomatoes, and kidney beans. Seasoned with garlic, onions, and cumin. When done right, very good dish, and of course cheese is a must (in Catsfanbgky's household)

Cincinnati Chili - No need to get into. The Mediterranean masterpiece is a great topic of debate. Almost as if Tom Kiradjieff wanted to divide the upper and lower folks and the chili / stew preference.

Goulash -The Hungarian great is classified as a soup or stew. One of my personal favorites.

Gumbo - no explanation needed, soup or stew is the only question.

Irish Stew - Made with Lamb or Mutton combined with potatoes, onion, and parsley.

***Must try if you like Mexican fish dishes.***

Pescado Blanco - Combine Mahi Mahi filets and shrimp (grilled), with scallops, mushrooms, spinach, and roasted red peppers in a pot with a creamy white sauce. White soup sauce you combine butter, shallot (minced), light whipping cream, Tarragon Vinegar, garlic, chopped fresh parsley, ground black pepper, ground chili peppers. Can enjoy as a soup, or serve over a bed of rice or mashed potatoes.

Swung over to the Oklahoma State board just to see what their reaction would be and man the mods must be STRICT.

This a real thread that has been up for over 8 years. The title repeats itself about 200 times in the first post. Enjoy Thayer Evans Is Gay.

Who cares about Rexasucka? Can we retroactively give him back to Louisville? He didn't win shit here (or any where) any way.

I wish everyone would just ignore him. He's whoring his children away from being the UK Katina Powell.

* Josh Heupel is fat.

* My wife has started working out and my dog decided to get in on the act. He stole her 2 lb handweights and hid them in his bed like dog bones. My wife kept looking for them until she heard a loud thud from the bedroom where she found the dog chewing on a dumbbell looking guilty as hell.

I haven't been this proud of him since my wife called me horrified to tell me that he had to play only with bigger male dogs at doggie daycare because, and I quote, "he loves the ladies."

Zzzzzzz….

I bet it never happens. If they were serious, they would go ahead and implement it and not wait 4 months.
The Daily Wire (Ben Shapiro's crew) filed a suit in the 6th Circuit (the federal circuit that handles Kentucky, amongst other states) to prevent it from being implemented. Will be interesting to see how that case goes. Part of me thinks that the Biden administration would not mind too much if there is an injunction entered and they can quietly let the thing drop.

If the recent election results can be interpreted, it would seem that people are completely over COVID restrictions and the government monkeying with things.

So did OSHA rule they are going to enforce the mandate? If companies choose not to mandate it, what other precautions do they have to take?

If you're over 100 employees total, you can't "choose" not to implement it. Unless those folks are always at home or work always outdoors. No expiration date is weird.

It's either:
1. Get the poke, 2. test weekly and mask, or 3. get a $13k fine per incident(which means get fired).

We'll see. Seems like telling private business they have to enforce this, through Executive Mandate is a bit of a reach, but going through osha and the testing out is going to be tough to beat, IMO. LOL, a lot of folks coming after it though. We shall see.

The challenge may be for OSHA to prove that covid is a workplace hazard, and whether or not they can pony up sufficient stats to support their claim. The 100 employee line is also without merit and one of the more arbitrary guidelines set since this mess started. A company that has 99 employees stationed in one office is exempt.....one that has 100 employees across 3 buildings isn't. The magic covid bar is always moving.

If this doesn't get shot down, it opens the door for even more stringent mandates across the board, such as the one the idiots in San Fran implemented for kids.

My favorite part of social media is posting outlandish and random AF photos of things - then making a matter of fact statement about them like they’re fact, and then people reposting them as if they are fact and a well established position of a group of people. It’s a generated, completely made up news cycle that can constantly be fabricated in perpetuity. Basically I hate social media.

sun is shining and we have a good shot of knocking off our two biggest rivals in the next four days. LFG.

Beautiful forecast for a football Saturday
Breeder’s cup GAMBOL tonight and tomorrow
Flight leaves for NY Sunday (phew, that’ll be a miserable experience after tomorrow)
US-MEX Friday

It’s all tee’d up right now. #blessed

The part of the OSHA ETS that is most vulnerable to legal challenge, IMO, is the paid leave requirement. I don't see how OSHA has authority to mandate that employers provide paid leave to get the vaccine or to recover from side effects. That is the overreach as I see it.

*How long until TyTy has a bad game and Bubba Wildcat starts screaming about spending more time worrying about basketball than trying to get rich? 1 game?

*Can you believe Virginia is so racist they elected the first black woman as Lt. Gov and the 1st Hispanic AG. If that isn't systemic racism I don't know what is.

*We've been having emergency meetings since the announcement about the upcoming OSHA requirements. We are going from, "It's none of our business" when it comes to their vaccination status to, "We have to know" what their status is if this actually moves forward. What a load of shit.

*Lexington bound again tonight. Eat shit Tennessee.

*Work is SLOW right now when we are usually working 4 days behind this time of year. It's very difficult to get inbound shipments because our boots are made in China and Viet Nam.

-Whatever, deal with it when it actually goes in to effect, I guess.

-As TJ said, 80% of adults have the vax, we have 2 kick ass therapeutics, now 2 promising pill treatments, we have known the hospitals aren't going to get overrun, kids are all but immune, and it's obvious everyone understands the risk and is over it. Just move tf on already.

-Speaking of got a great massage last night. Not much better than a good painful massage. You can take the feather duster cruise massage and get pumped. Make it hurt.

-Blew right through my workout alarm this morning, haven't done that in a long time.

-At least we saw SAE walking by. Clark rarely even announces he's coming back. It's just a real bummer when I see his IG feed and he's in my town but I don't get a text. These doggie videos aren't enough...

-F*ck it. We're winning tomorrow. That's it. That's the prediction.

-Miles College? The F*ck?

-Trying my hand at fly tying. I love new 2 week hobbies.

-I could use a good Ferrell, Vaughn, Wilson throwback film. Surely, Hollywood can't keep inappropriate comedies off the shelf forever. Cooler heads need to prevail.
