Always trust your heart and soul! Screw what you “think!”

Listened to the pregame, every snap, and post game for the entire drive down. About ran off the road twice. Looked down at the odometer and was going over the speed limit by an irresponsible amount during that goal line stand.

Jeff Piecoro is freaking awesome. He’s like if one of us was in the booth with Tom. Calling out refs all night. Legend.

High quality Piecoro in here:

This was, without question, the most awesome football game experience of my lifetime.

The crowd was incredible. Just incredible. The student section was 100% LIT the entire game. The chants were the loudest they’ve ever been at Kroger/CWS.

I was there when Stevie Got Loose. That was the loudest and most bananas I’d ever experienced. Until tonight. Tonight, Paschal got through, the block sailed into the Bluegrass night and into the arms of the young freshman who deftly followed his blockers and avoided all opponents for the go-ahead score. And the place was insane with glee. Louder than Bud Dupree’s pick-6, louder than Stevie Got Loose.

Tonight was the dream come true Kentucky Football Game of my lifetime. If you were there tonight, I hope you realize just how special tonight was.

On my way out, I thought of who we’ve lost. J-Lo and his live feed of the win in Gainesville 3 years ago. Coach Ortmayer who was always so gracious and generous with his time and conversations with me. And I thought about W&W, whom I never had the pleasure to meet, and I got home and made me that exact drink to toast the win. I hope they’re all up there somewhere basking in the warmth of this awesome evening.

Peace out.

- F*** what a win.

- We lose that game 10/10 a few years ago.

- Mullen was absolutely going for two if they scored on the last drive.

- F***, despite two inexcusable play calls...the Wildcat play and not giving it to CRod to convert with two yards, still somehow pulled it out. Unreal.

- Props to the crowd. Most of the 10 or so false starts, a lot in make-or-break spots, decided the game.

- Goddamn, still on cloud 9.

- Love this team. What f***ing heart.

that HAD to have been the loudest crowd at commonwealth- maybe ever
the insanity of the sounds coming across on the broadcast were unreal

proud of the fans that were there raising hell and even more proud of this team / staff

diggity damn

it’s almost like the nasty defense of the Curci era with a better offense?

i git texts from georgia friends/three generations of family members/and buddies out in arizona that knew what this game meant to us -

it’s unreal and i THINK - i seriously think this team still has a higher ceiling and will get better offensively etc -

DAMN my tennessee fan brothers are all weirdly walking on eggshells too[laughing]

The delta variant is dead. Unbelievable that Kentucjy defense beat Florida. 35 fing years. Foh, Gators.

reading back through The GYERO Files is a hell of a cool way to relive some of the moments too

i also like tuning into the losing teams radio stations and listen to their call in shows after UK pulls the SHIV

Tennessee last year was two hours of gilded shadenfreude with a side quenched rage

I can’t believe how incredibly beatable LSU looks all of a sudden. What kind of odds could you have gotten on a 6-0 start and walking into Athens undefeated?

Don’t wanna get ahead of ourselves, but we really should win that game Saturday. We’re absolutely a better team.

-Jacquez Jones has been a huge addition to this team. Can’t think of another team in the country that used the portal any better than UK.

-Just sat in the stadium and soaked it in prolly 45 minutes after.

-The twins got stuck at a wedding on their mom’s side. She sent me this picture of the boys trying to watch the game with shitty WiFi at the venue. We’ve all been there.
