Rogue seems to be dominating life at a beautiful pace through the good and the bad.

I want to think he is not all revealing and also moonlights doing side work for Mossad and their Kidon unit.

-Good to have rogue back. Saw him on IG a few days ago. Cheers, pal.

-This snow concrete style mixture has been an absolute nightmare for just about everything, but man, it's unreal for sledding. I had G flying down the Shriners Hill last night.

-I see all these new age body board style sleds, still can't keep up with the simple plastic disc. Those things just fly.

-I think 80's sentiment is pretty universal. We're all at the tipping point. 1 year mark of rona, most of the country is snowed or iced in, cabin fever at a peak, cases plummeting, election firmly in the rear view, vaccines rolling out. Good luck holding everyone down in about a month.

-60 and sunny on Wednesday. Shew boy.

-BIG fan of JLD, Veep has been on my list for awhile. I'd have to really think about it, but she's up there.

-Twitter does suck if you don't control it and block out the nonsense, but then it's awesome for things like following the new Mars Rover. I'm close to just going FB/IG though.

-Still debating a Vegas trip this sumer, but no interest if things aren't back to normal. I'm not sitting in a casino or sports book all day with a mask on.

- Been saying it for years but the more you watch Seinfeld, the better JLD becomes. She’s the GOAT, imo. Lucille Ball, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Jane Krakowski and Megan Mulally up there. My grandma loved Carol Burnett.

- Looking like we’ll be headed to Maine to visit the wife’s high school bestie this summer. Never been but have always wanted to. They live in Brooklyn but apparently “summer” in Maine now. Must be nice.

- Speaking of, one of the most impressive things about my wife to me has always been her closest friends. She has a solid group across many different life stages - childhood, high school, college, Cincinnati. And they’re all married to dudes I like, too. Found that to be rare in my dating career.

- Hey Rogue- good hearing from you buddy.

- DadBoat - my only fatherly advice is to grind these first two months but it gets better. By 2-3 months, lil dude starts recognizing you as his dad, smiling, showing personality. Hang in there.

Re: E. TN airbrushed t-shirts....

When my aunt passed and the family couldnt get together, we chose a zoom happy hour to share some stories and have a few drinks together. I got a text from my brother in-law who was on there with my sister- asking me "Hey what is a "Gatlinburg"? and no sooner than he asked I noticed my 80 yr old uncle was wearing an airbrushed Gatlinburg t-shirt that also had a picture of what appeared to be a stack of pancakes. BIL is a Bostonian, and I assume never been to TN.

I struggled for hours with a way to describe Gatlinburg via a text but I think I went with "Its like Panama City Beach but on a mountain."

I've been to Vegas 3x during Covid, and while it's definitely not 'normal', it's about as close as you can get w/ regards to good times, good crowds, and fun. After wearing a mask for a touching year, it's really not even noticeable (which is sad in itself) - last trip for NYE was about as much fun as I've had out there - 3 weeks til the next.

As long as you have a beer in your hand, you won't be reprimanded about your mask. Plus, You don't really gamble, and there is nothing to sit in a sports book all day to watch during the summer, where you spend your days at the pool. BBdK says stop "waiting" to have fun and go for it. :)

Crowded bars, restaurants, clubs, pools are my thing out there. So when I can do that mask free, I'm all in. Until then, I'll stick with Myrtle Beach in the Mountains.

Vegas is at 35% restaurant capacity now....50% on March 15th.....outdoor dining has no restrictions. Vegas style shows are open...comedy, magic, etc. Wearing a mask and gamble...no biggie...just sip on a cocktail whenever you can. Will be at my preferred Wynn suite in a couple of months.

From Tucker’s article in The Athletic about Mintz returning..

“It’s obviously on the table,” says Sean Mintz, a programming engineer at Wells Fargo to whom education is no small consideration. “Let me emphasize that we’d love to see him obtain his master’s. That’s big for us. We know one day when the ball stops bouncing for him — which he doesn’t believe it ever will, of course — that master’s will be really important. We believe he has a future to continue his basketball career at the next level, but if he’s going to play another year of college then we’d love nothing more than for him to do it at Kentucky and continue being a Wildcat. For now, we’ve got a lot of basketball left and we really want him to focus on that and to keep playing as big as he can for this team.”

Mintz is always moving, attacking, hunting, and probing - basically the opposite of Askew, which you can pretty much attribute to experience.

If he returns, he'll be one of the most experienced players to ever play CBB. Turner had that record for a long time, now held by David Lighty at 157 games - he could challenge if we have a deep run.

Betty White, Jean Stapleton, and Bea Arthur funnier that JLD is just someone typing stupid nonsense to be an asshole.

See no reason we can’t have Mintz, Askew, Toppin, Ware, Brooks come back. I feel like that’s a reasonable expectation but maybe I still haven’t learned.

Brooks, Toppin and Mintz all return I’ll be back on the Big Blue Kool Aid Bus.

Askew will improve and so so will Ware. Throw in this hoss transfer from West Virginia and Collins...Let’s fng go.
If he can bring back Brooks and Allen, it'll ease concerns a lot. Those are the two prototype departures that are driving everyone insane. Lose those two and gtfo.

Mintz is a bonus but that's not a normal situation.

-Weezer's Blue Album just holds its value, man.

-Kate McKinnon cracks me up.

-Wife got her first full time paycheck in 3 years today. Wodie.

-Good to have rogue back. Sorry about your grandma. The bad posters tend to get all of the attention, but it's a pretty solid cast these days. Ron, kooky, wynn, and a few others have all added some needed depth. Still miss W&W.

-MIL's exhibition in East Hampton is nearly sold out. Been an artist for nearly 50 years and is now getting her "break" so to speak. She's sold her works primarily in KY and SC but now has an international audience (these works have sold in Japan & Finland, but also LA and other American cities). Pretty damn cool. She and the gallery director did a zoom interview and spoke for about 45 minutes and I was blown away. The lovable space cadet MIL was about as sharp and engaging as I've ever seen. Like a different person.

They've invited her to do another exhibition at their Chelsea gallery in 2021, so that'll be cool. Anyhow, proud of her. Good lady.

-Speaking of W&W, wouldn't mind @NJT getting a new caretaker. Not sure who could do it justice but I feel like he might want someone to take it over. JMO.

-Lass has a girls dinner tonight at 211 Clover. We like the place, but not the most dynamic scene in town. Hoping she compensates and comes home drunk.

-Trash Truck on Netflix is a cute program for the kids if you're needing some new screen time freedom.

-Old Fo 86 proof still getting her done. Available most everywhere. Just pour it over ice and enjoy.

-I don't understand UK's relationship with the fanbase. I agree with Matt; attacking KSR, the biggest champion of the entire athletics department, at this juncture is just strange.

The Man in Me, Bob Dylan
There Was a Time, James Brown
Remedy, The Black Crowes
April Come She Will, Simon & Garfunkel
Hold Me, Fleetwood Mac

-If I could open a restaurant I'd do a small, classic place with an oak bar, great burger, and nice ribeye, along with seasonal sides. That would be it.

Great randos.

-Gimme OF100 and OF Rye over the 86, especially if using ice.

-Great call on new life for NJT.

-UK's fan relations have always felt strained and as if they take us for granted. Just my opinion. The only time they ever really listened was that god awful endzone banner after the renovations. Attacking an ally in times like these is just silly.

-Old school steakhouse.

IF it happens and we get the right person willing to do it, they could have gmail for us to send ideas about what to post. It wouldn't be just on that one persons shoulders to come up with all material. They would have emails from time to time about what may be funny to post.

Brax, UCL/Powerrr combo, would be my first picks.

If we return who should return, we have a damn good chance to be a good, ugly team. I’d love to add a guard or two and be a good, fun team, though.

WTF has happened to Pat’s Steakhouse? I get COVID but even before that I feel like it could be so much more if they invested some capital into it. Like, it should be a St Elmo’s type place for a sharp old school steakhouse.

I’ll never forget after the Cats beat IU in that classic in January at Freedom Hall... Pitino and the entire team and staff roll in for dinner. Mash, Ford.. The works. I was in 8th grade and was completely starstruck.

Talk about overrated. St. Elmo's is overrated AF. Cool place but the food is meh. Cocktail sauce is basically the only thing that is above average.

Also, Pat's has been meh for 30 years. Del Frisco's all day in the genre.
