They had a Wild Wing in Winston-Salem a decade back. Place was bonkers, closed down for too many late night fights.

Had an asshole friend back in the day get kicked out...and he put his finger down his throat and made himself throw up on the bouncer when they got outside.

Sounds about right. The one in Charleston at night was a meat market chalk full of roided out Mt Pleasant police officers and minor league hockey players. Fights would break out routinely.

Y'all remember the "Bigfoot" pizza from Pizza Hut? It was about 1 yard by 1 foot. My buddy and I would workout in the late mornings during the summer - just before the heat of the day - and then head over to the Hut around 11:30 and take down one of those things before heading over to the pool. This was a limited time menu item around 94 or 95. It was there for about a month or two and I can't ever remember it making a comeback.
 
Boynton and Oklahoma State trolled the entire program and only a jackass would think Cade wasn't going to Oklahoma State (not talking recruiting people either--talking staff members). I laugh at the "he committed on visit" stuff--great--and so do about 90% of recruits who take visits anywhere. Then they get home and visit wears off.

The OSU staff completely trolled UK with the chess stuff--and you have Justus kissing Boynton's ass about issues this offseason. That guy needs to have been gone but at least ship his ass out of Lexington the minute this dreadful season ends. He's the leak in the program as well. Loves to run his yapper to media and everyone and it gets back to people it shouldn't and they use things he says against UK in recruiting.

If we're going to suck I want it to be historic enough Cal won't have any choice but to effing get off his ass. He's deserved it with all the years of condescension and pomp. We're not letting him off the hook, no siree.

Play this shit out and I will watch every.last.second.

 
I guess that’s another way to look at it.

Certainly helps that all of our rivals suck, too. I mean, I don’t care what their ranking is- Kansas sucks. UNC sucks. Duke sucks. Louisville sucks. UCLA meh.

He’s in over his head. And if he has loose lips touch him even more. The first half decade or so in the Cal era you never heard shit from the staff especially anything regarding overselling and under delivering. Antigua, Robes, and KP... they didn’t talk. Cal didn’t want them to.

Why Cal has Justus on staff much less our primary recruiter is ridiculous. He’s mediocre. Kentucky Basketball isn’t about mediocrity. Go be an assistant at UAB or Cleveland St and pay your dues, dipshit.
 
Chick-Fil-A creating an empire with bullshit fries and closed on Sundays just shows (a) how good their chicken is and (b) how otherworldly their service is.

If you live more than 5 miles from your CFA, those fries are inedible by the time you get home. Just awful. On the rare occasion I get fries with my order, I scarf ‘em down before I hit New Circle Road.

The best part of that Joel thread is looking back on this thread and remembering how some people have absolutely creamed their pants over Joel Justus....probably just because they listened to a podcast, or some hipster blog man had a cool interview with Mr. Justus. The dude was a stone cold loser the minute he stepped on campus, and appears he's somehow regressing...

Is he family friend of the Calipari's or something? How'd he land this job?

Talks a lot--and in past was talking with people back "home" (which for Justus is NC) that leaked things to other staffs and hurt UK with players they had targeted.

Whitney is a kid Cal fell in love with-the entire staff tried to talk him out of that one and he went rogue and just saw something they all didn't.

4/5 have foot out the door as of now.

What's lacking the most this year? I'd say player development and recruiting mistakes in some instances. When mistakes or guys who don't stay around can be traced to a certain assistant (Justus) he's easy to replace.

NOBODY on the planet who supports UK basketball (current assistants I don't care to be around any longer either) agreed with his lineups and playing rotations last Saturday.


What an incredibly depressing thread you found.
 
It has now been 732 days since NKY has experienced more than 2.5” of snow. This is maddening.

But at least I have Kentucky basketball.

I had to do a deep analysis into the fry game for work a few years back. Some public avail info right here.

There’s basically three main producers of French Fries:

- Simplot
- McCain
- Lamb Weston

Some interesting tidbits:
- Your fast food companies source from all of them, but they typically have a proprietary recipe. Your favorite sit down recipe does not.
- Fries are graded by their length and appearance. Long fries without and blemishes are considered premium.
- 90% plus of American restaurants serve frozen fries. In Canada the preference is fresh cut for sit down restaurants.
- Restaurants in Florida primarily serve coated fries because due to the humidity, the non-coated would be soggy af right after they come out of the fryer.

I went to undergrad with a CFA operator and have worked with a number of other operators on some things. They are, without exception, delightful people. But I worked in a restaurant too long to dare special order my fries, even from God's Chikin.
