That quote makes it sound like we have a hostage situation in Lexington. When playing a guy - who at this point is a liability - just to “get him going” is the top priority for a team, that is obviously a big problem. Calipari, Boston, or Boston’s handlers have taken this team hostage.

Calipari has always been a salesman. He has sold his product better than any other coach in history (a compliment, by the way). The problem now is, he’s lost his consumers. You all maintain that it was the 2015 Wisconsin game that killed him; I submit it was his HOF induction. Once he felt accepted, he relaxed. He thought it was his coaching acumen that got him there. Nope.
