You could make the case for 12. I feel like they were pretty consistent most of the year tho. 18, not really. Don’t feel like they ever hit their stride. ‘16 boat raced duke in November and that was pretty much the high point.

99% of that "Cal March Magic" reputation is based on 2011 and 2014 pulling their heads out of their asses just in time and making runs. Cal deserves credit for getting those teams on the right track at the right time.

Every other year was just a team getting better naturally over the course of a season. Cal gets credit for that too, but it's not miraculous stuff.

2018 deserves no credit for anything and may god have mercy on their souls.

Not sure how any Reds fanisn’t happy about this deal. Those prospects were ok, and could easily grow into very solid MLB level talent, but the team in place right now can compete. If the young arms can be average with this type of offense then the Reds have a better shot than people will give them to be in the thick of the postseason.

They owed this to Votto, but they can’t just end up letting these guys walk like they did Harvey.

I actually really like this trade for the Reds. If my math is correct, the money is a wash, and all of the big names are in the final year of their current contract, more or less (Bailey will get bought out for $5 mill in 2020).

They’re unloading Bailey, who wasn’t in their legitimate plans anyways, and picking up a couple of above average vets, plus Wood. The prospects don’t project to amount to much.

Nice trade. I mean, marcus.

The Cubs pitching is AWFUL and they don’t have the money to fix it, but I wish they could! Lester and Hamels are another year older meanwhile Yu is injury prone, and on top of that it doesn’t matter if they are lights out when the bullpen gives it up every other night.

The Brewers, well I guess I just don’t believe in them enough to see that happen again this year. Last year they were just over .500 come September and caught fire.

Watching today with a bunch of Carolina fans and my wife who claims to be one but thought basketball season started after January 1st. It's 6:52 AM and I'm already annoyed AF.

Beat. These. Assholes.

My wife’s uncle set up a big family Christmas dinner tonight at 211 Clover Lane. The dude’s a big foodie and his restaurant picks are usually on point; he made this reservation weeks out. He’s also a big UK fan so it makes it even more disappointing that he set the reservation at 6PM - right in the middle of today’s UK game.

You could have Sous Vide that bad boy if you put it in on Tuesday
Reverse sear FTW. 190 for 5 hours, 15 minutes at 550 convection. Don't have much experience with rib roasts and it's too expensive to f*ck around with.

The big hunks of meat are a pain in the a$$ with SV and I find meats with high fat content don't do as well as the egg or oven.

Speaking of sous vide, is it posh to boil my babyback ribs before grilling again? That used to be a faux pas in these parts.

SAE, we are going to eat on the china even if wearing sweats. Just trying to decide which set to use. I would aay I should pull out the old Schem china since it’s the Schem Christmas, but that requires me rooting in the basement.
